i have no idea why grub-mkresuce attaches type="hfsplus" and partlabel"hfsplus" to my usb stick , it supposed to label them as iso9660
<cloudowind>
my init script is looking for ISO9660 to mount and switch_root to but thanks to grub giving me hfsplus , when i manually enter it does works normall but i wantto automate this hmm more time to spend on..

lukeluo.blogspot.com: l think, therefore l am: GRUB2 How To (2) : Make boot-able ISO with xorriso
<cloudowind>
maybe , i was happy with grub-mkrescue as it was able to detect file for both boot modes (bios and uefi) , but now i am realising it is creating partition type as hfsplus
<cloudowind>
i will have a look thank you
<cloudowind>
and the ironic bit is , despite working on an o0ld lenovo helix 2 , i build and prepared rootfs and everything in it on a t2 archlinux
<cloudowind>
thought had something to do with it but no , this is sort of a habit oa grub-mkrescue i will soon find out thanks anyway

cloudowind: grub-mkrescue by default makes a .iso that boots as many places as possible, depending on what platform binaries you have installed (pc, efi, etc.). HFS helps with macOS I imagine
