Hmm, even though previous CRUX ISOs did not include nvme-cli, I still managed to install CRUX 3.7 on a Lenovo Thinkpad whose internal disk was NVME. The standard fdisk tools should still work without nvme-cli, you just get more tunability by having nvme-cli on the ISO.
