<sewn> true
<sewn> i mean its priority is to make packaging as easy as humanely possible
<sewn> but its with the assumption that most projects are sane

<sad_plan> maybe. didnt see any package instructions per-package though.
<sewn> its suckless! no documentation needed.

<thikkl> does cmake use parallel build by default?
<thikkl> I've been trying to build surf and webkit2gtk is taking really long, so I'm wondering if Cmake isn't using parallel build
traidare has joined #kisslinux
<sewn> thikkl: cmake complles to make, which will be parallel if you set makeflags
<sewn> don't be suprised for webkit2gtk to take forever, it takes as long as chromium for me
<thikkl> well it failed yesterday at around 49%... hopefully it works this time because otherwise I've waited all this time for nothing
<sewn> thikkl: ..
<sewn> are you using ccache...
<thikkl> probably not
<thikkl> yep it failed again
<thikkl> I probably should use ccache
<thikkl> is it posible for kiss to restart compiling from where it left off?
<thikkl> sewn: ..
<sewn> thikkl: no, but you use ccache
<sewn> I mean you should
<sewn> you're using kiss for crying out loud
<thikkl> yeah I kinda realize that now
<thikkl> I might honestly just use something like dillo at this point
<sewn> or chromium
