Kudos to NetBSD. When package is compiled it cannot include file from host system, e.g. /usr/pkg/include. Header files from dependencies are copied into working directory.

ukky: In the university where I use to work, they installed Novell Border Manager. I found out if I installed a proxy on my own machine and connected to it local, I could bypass the Border Manager.
<remiliascarlet>
Yet another Chink trying to convince me that anarchy is communism, which makes absolutely no sense. I just clowned on them, and they left.

zorz: Apparently, Ladybird developers want to switch from C++ to Swift, meaning the browser will become Linux, Windows, and macOS only.
<remiliascarlet>
SiFuh: Did you run any Amiga-like OS like MorphOS or AROS before?
<SiFuh>
remiliascarlet: Doesn't look familiar but I did run an Amiga before
<zorz>
remiliascarlet: hello
<zorz>
remiliascarlet: because of ruff for python, i switched to neovim... and the thing is good. you were right.
<zorz>
SiFuh: bonjourrrrrrrrrr
<farkuhar>
ukky: it's been almost four years since I needed to use MS Teams for work, but back then I didn't bother running it inside a web browser. I think I just installed a FlatPak.
<farkuhar>
I can't remember if my use of MS Teams involved a microphone for synchronous meetings, though. Maybe my usage was restricted to the shared notebooks.
<ukky>
farkuhar: FlatPak might be a solution for Linux, but I need something similar for NetBSD. Maybe Teams, standalone, can run via some emulation layer. If not, then via Browser.
<ukky>
Teams is my next problem to solve on NextBSD. Right now XRDP is the highest priority.

wine
<zorz>
hahaha
<ukky>
zorz: wine is last resort. I used it mostly to run disassembler, two-three years back.
<farkuhar>
SiFuh: Speaking of wine, did your drinking companions report symptoms of Ritalin-spiked Sake?
<zorz>
maybe it will work with a compatibility layer like alien
<zorz>
farkuhar: almost raped
<zorz>
hahahaa
<ukky>
zorz: *BSD have different emulation packages compared to Linux, depending on specific *BSD.
<zorz>
ukky: why the hussle not working in browser?
<ukky>
zorz: I have yet to test it whether it works in browser. Mic might not work in browser, for once. Meetings might not work in browser. Sharing screen might not work, etc.
<ukky>
MS-Teams, as standalone program, works quite stable on my two Crux systems, one at home and one at work. Teams via browser mostly work in Crux (there were some issues).
