Commit 9c9824b removes initialization of msg_control, msg_controllen, and msg_flags fields. Those fields will contain whatever garbage stack memory already has. That's a potential bug.

<remiliascarlet>
It's as if faggots have taken over FOSS...
<remiliascarlet>
Only shows why gatekeeping is in fact necessary.
<remiliascarlet>
farkuhar: My take on runit is that it's an OK init system, but by no means perfect.
<remiliascarlet>
farkuhar: Invidious is under constant attack by JewTube, which also affects tools like yt-dlp sometimes. At this point I'd prefer each YouTuber creates a backup on Rumble, and preferrably host their own PeerTube instance.
<lavaball>
remiliascarlet, the gatekeeping doesn't work. i mean what does it even mean in open source? they just need to base things on meritocracy, not group think. but that isn't possible inside the confines of the human condition. it doesn't even have anything to do with wokeness itself. wokeness is just another religion, which is just another name for group think. and well, group think is an integral part of the human condition. so yeah. we're fucked.
<remiliascarlet>
"The gatekeeping doesn't work." Then goes on explaining how to gatekeep in open source.
<remiliascarlet>
Each piece of software is made by someone or some group. In the case of a group, there's always someone on top. That someone has the power to tell these cultists to fuck off. Yet it doesn't seem to happen in most projects.
<lavaball>
but that's not what meritocracy means. if the cultists can code they get to contribute. if they don't, they don't.
<remiliascarlet>
Sure, you can still fork, but why do you think the woke tries to infiltrate instead? Simply because they can't code shit themselves!
<remiliascarlet>
Exactly what I mean.
<lavaball>
but then you are doing the same group think and the tech isn't about tech anymore, but about allegiances.
<remiliascarlet>
You're here to complain about your genitals? You have no business in this software project, so get the fuck out!
<remiliascarlet>
There, this simple!
<lavaball>
that's exactly what the other side does, except from the other direction.
<lavaball>
so just group think again.
<remiliascarlet>
"but then you are doing the same group think and the tech isn't about tech anymore, but about allegiances." And this wouldn't have happened if there would have been proper gatekeeping from the start.
<lavaball>
it always will. i just told you that it's part of the human condition.
<lavaball>
didn't they come after stallman because he said something about the minors?
<lavaball>
where is the meritocracy there?
<remiliascarlet>
Stallman himself is full of shit. All it takes is to go to his official website, and see how little he talks about tech, and how much about politics.
<lavaball>
yet he can code, can't he?
<remiliascarlet>
Last time he coded was in the 1990s.
<remiliascarlet>
Would have forgotten how to code by now.
<lavaball>
so that makes your point void. unless of course you just want gatekeep based on group think, which you said was only necessary, because there wasn't proper gate keeping in the first place. so if good at coding isn't your base line, what is then?
<SiFuh>
farkuhar: Haa didn't tie to the boom at all. Just used the bucket to rip it out. Nice
<remiliascarlet>
Meritocracy isn't defined by whether you can code or not, but whether you bring good code to the project right the fuck now or not.
<remiliascarlet>
So no, my point still stands.
<lavaball>
but if you have contributed good code once, isn't it still your code in there?
<remiliascarlet>
Yes, but the point is now, not 30 years ago.
<lavaball>
so who gets to decide the proper time frame?
<lavaball>
see how we always come back to group think?
<remiliascarlet>
Just look at the amount of contributors to Linux, NetBSD, FreeBSD, and so on, and note how many of them haven't contributed for decades.
<lavaball>
your point being?
<remiliascarlet>
Meritocracy.
<lavaball>
yeah, they are in there, because they built the projects when they were still in their infancy.
<lavaball>
so i would say meritocracy is given.
<remiliascarlet>
Nevermind, all I do by replying to your delusions is getting stuck in an infinite loop.
<lavaball>
not to mention if something works for 30 years, it must be doing something right, right? so shouldn't they have a say in future development jsut for that reason alone?
<lavaball>
hahaha.
<lavaball>
why don't you ask SiFuh for his script.
<lavaball>
then you can both enjoy your safe space.
<lavaball>
anyway, thank your for provding sufficient effidence that the both sides are equally retarded. only the direction differs.

<SiFuh>
farkuhar: I have chopped most of the two trees down. Spent all day ripping up the garden and cutting roots up. Squeezing into the drain under the road to rip up roots too. There are roots around the mains water for the street and the electrical wiring under the front section of the house. So it is a big job. I will continue another day when someone lends me a chainsaw.
<SiFuh>
Although the reciprocating saw will work. It is battery operated and takes a bit of time. Goes flat pretty quick
<farkuhar>
How long does it take to recharge the battery in the reciprocating saw?
<SiFuh>
farkuhar: About 1 or 2 hours.
<SiFuh>
It isn't designed for tree stumps. I was just testing doing a heavy test to see how long the battery lasts for.
<SiFuh>
farkuhar: I can always buy some more batteries. 45 MYR each 10.91 USD

Prior to iproute2 commit 9c9824b, arpd.c was initializing msghdr using a non-portable array. After that commit, iproute2 does compile on CRUX-MUSL, but with the potential of allowing garbage into the msghdr struct. This debacle proves remiliascarlet's point about the need for better gatekeeping.

<SiFuh>
I rarely lock the doors. You can't even open the door downstairs without me knowing. Plus we have a dog alarm now.
<SiFuh>
Today she started her anti-bark training.
<farkuhar>
zorz is back to running X again? I wonder if he ever sees "no space left on device" when ~/.xsession-errors grows to fill the entire /home partition. I've had both a 50G /home and a 211G /home filled up that way. At least with ~/.bash_history we can set an upper bound on how much disk space it can occupy, using HISTFILESIZE.
<SiFuh>
Sick of her barking at stupid shit, like a kid on a bicycle, a squirrel that farted, a mango fell out of the tree.
<zorz_>
farkuhar: we shall see
<SiFuh>
farkuhar: You can put it in /tmp
<zorz_>
farkuhar: btw its easy with the Pkgfiles to do pip2crux -r package and remove dependancies aswell... during the week i will do it
<zorz_>
so when i uninstall python3-selenium it will remove something like 7-8 python packages.
<farkuhar>
SiFuh_: I've managed to fill up /tmp too, after making ~/.xsession-errors read-only. It's probably my fault for not using 2>/dev/null in the wrapper that launches firefox, and a long-running process keeps spamming the file with JavaScript warnings until the disk is full.
<SiFuh>
farkuhar: Does the echo -n work? I think I tried it before
<SiFuh>
echo -n > ~/.xsession-errors
<SiFuh>
If so, you could put that into crontab. But if I remember correctly, even though it zeroed out the log file the disk usage space never changed.
<zorz_>
but if you use 0x0.st no need for uguu, 0x0.st you can upload pictures.
<farkuhar>
Yeah, I could set a cron job to zero out the file periodically. It would be nice if `ulimit -f $MAX_BLOCKS` inserted into /etc/X11/xdm/Xsession could have its effect restricted to certain files, but from what I read, the ulimit command will affect all child processes.
<SiFuh>
farkuhar: How about chattr +i .xsession-errors or link it to /dev/null or even remove it completely in Xorg config?
<zorz_>
SiFuh: you are in my mind chattr +i i have in resolv.conf
<zorz_>
hehehe
<SiFuh>
Don't you have /etc/resolv.conf.head ?
<SiFuh>
And you can configure dhcpcd to not modify resolv.conf
<farkuhar>
For now I've commented out all the lines in /etc/X11/xdm/Xsession that have the potential to fill up the disk with a bloated errors file. The problem with the chattr +i solution is that Xsession has a fallback location under /tmp, and it's not as easy to create a persistent read-only file of the right name in that partition.
<SiFuh>
zorz_: If you put your nameservers in /etc/resolv.conf.head it will always put the contents at the top of /etc/resolv.conf
<zorz_>
SiFuh: i wrote this https://0x0.st/XgBy.sh so i runt chresolv and no_hook at dhcpcd.conf

What do you need to clean up among the "xorg packages that come with ninja"?
<SiFuh>
Ninja live Metsubushi everywhere
<SiFuh>

<SiFuh>
Some of the Metsubushi looks like little X's all over the ground that stab into your feet.
<farkuhar>
SiFuh: did you mean to write "Sorry serpente ..."? I'm not the one who studies Japanese martial arts here, you could have substituted any word for Makibishi and I wouldn't have known the difference.
<zorz_>
i just use cwm
<zorz_>
farkuhar: serioulsy this xorg is copy/paste from prt-get listinst
<farkuhar>
zorz_: Did you install the xorg "meta-package"? Don't bother with that, just install the xorg-server and the xorg-xf86-{input,video}-* ports that you need. Dependency resolution will take care of the rest.
<zorz_>
farkuhar: i installed cthe crux ninja all core opt xorg
<farkuhar>
Oh, that's the ninja you meant, jaeger's server that hosts the updated ISO. I thought you meant ninja the build system.
<SiFuh>
farkuhar: No he studies Chinese martial arts. And you may have looked up Metsubushi and realised that is basically salt and sand and glass powder you throw into the eyes of your opponent which would be the incorrect thing I was talking about. So better to make sure I use the correct word or remiliascarlet might tell me off.
<SiFuh>
Our resident Nihonjin
<farkuhar>
zorz_ had me confused by using "meson apps" yesterday, as if the build system were more important than the language the program is written in. So when he starts talking about xorg packages that come with ninja, I think he's referring to the `ninja -j ${JOBS:-1}` command in the Pkgfile.
<SiFuh>
Well it did sound like he was talking about that and not the website
<farkuhar>
And I'm overstating the case by saying "Dependency resolution will take care of the rest." Runtime dependencies are not listed, so he might hit a few errors running `startx` until he installs ports like xorg-sessreg and xorg-xrdb. The hard dependencies are deliberately kept to a minimum, making it possible to administer headless servers and thin clients.
<SiFuh>
Here is me testing it on a stump it is not designed to cut because it is too wide. But I wanted to test the battery life.
<zorz_>
SiFuh: this is small
<zorz_>
you need a Stihl chainsaw
<SiFuh>
Of course
<SiFuh>
Waiting for the chainsaw, maybe arrives tomorrow I think.

<SiFuh>
zorz_: Dude, if I cut my leg, that would be the dumbest thing ever because the blade is NOT sharp and it requires motion to cut the tree by rocking it. It will not cut skin for sure. It sucks on rubbery vines.
<zorz_>
the chainsaw?
<SiFuh>
I have jeans
<zorz_>
becarefull with the chainsaw
<SiFuh>
zorz_: Dude, used chainsaws for years. It was even part of the emergency service training and we always carried one. Used them many times during the emergency rescue in the storms
<SiFuh>
I was actually surprised that you were not even allowed to use a chainsaw in the ermgency service unless you applied for a chainsaw ticket (Like a certificate) and had to go through heavy training.
<SiFuh>
zorz_: In Thailand, I taught my Thai uncle how to use a chainsaw to mow his lawn.
<zorz_>
man in my village every winter i need 120 tones of wood
<zorz_>
so...
<SiFuh>
I even showed them that I can open a bottle of beer with a chainsaw
<zorz_>
just be carefull with the chainsaw
<zorz_>
let me see what to install after the uninstall of xorg
<zorz_>

<SiFuh>
Careful with a chainsaw. You sound like a liberal school teacher.
<zorz_>
hehehe
<zorz_>
okay dont be carefull
<SiFuh>
zorz_: Haha, reminds me of when I was in primary school. I think Grade 7. I flicked an Assassin Bug. It ended up on my finger and the pain was so intense I had tears in my eyes. I went to the school nurse and told her and she started laughing.
<SiFuh>
She says, I have known you since first grade. You come running into here every week because your teacher tells you to. You have been bitten by snakes, spiders, dragon lizards, rats, mice, jumping ants, green ants, bees, wasps and you never cried once. But to day a beetle bites you and you have tears!
<SiFuh>
The funny part is that Assassin bugs aren't even 'VENOMOUS' unless I found a new species. And my finger grew super fat and itchy. It felt like a high dose of formic acid.

zorz_: farkuhar: Question for you, I was asked once by my father when I was a kid. "How come whenever I clean out the garage and throw all the old junk away that I haven't used in years, suddenly a day or two later I find out when working on something that it would have been perfect for what I want, but it is too late now?"
<farkuhar>
dull chainsaw blade, heh. That's one possible outcome if you're cutting through a tree branch and hit an embedded rock. We were warned to be mindful of embedded rocks when using chainsaws on the stump in 2017.
<zorz_>
question for you, which xorg-package i am missing to the colors in my statusbar?
<zorz_>
hehehe
<SiFuh>
Hmm don't know if I explained that well. Let's say you have an old bearing that you throw out because it has been siting aroung for years. Two days after you throw it out, that bearing would have been perfect for something you were working on.
<SiFuh>
farkuhar: Those photos were from 2017?
<farkuhar>
SiFuh: yes
<SiFuh>
You still walk around with a backpack after all these years?
<farkuhar>
Why not? It's a useful item.
<SiFuh>
And in the photo of you wearing orange. Were you making roads and tunnels for your hotwheel and matbox cars?

Be careful that you don't confuse the spectators who just tuned into this conversation, SiFuh. There's a six-hour lifespan for uguu.se uploads, and then the photos aren't accessible any more.
<zorz_>
cool system now clean
<SiFuh>
farkuhar: I already have copies. HAHAHA
<farkuhar>
Regarding your father's question and the example of discarded bearings ... maybe it's just the recency effect, and handling the bearings recently makes them easier to visualize as fitting into whatever you're working on.
<SiFuh>
farkuhar: I said to my father similar. "You saw it recently. Now it is fresh on your mind" The look was cool that he gave me "I never thought of it like that"
<farkuhar>
So do the trees in your region have a tendency to incorporate rocks into their roots and branches, or is that not a danger you need to worry about when using the chainsaw?
<SiFuh>
farkuhar: My French friend who I use to drink beer with ALMOST every night. Who worked with me 5 nights a week. Use to go motorbike riding together and break a lot of laws together as well. Was sitting in a park today. Smoking a cigarette. My brother saw him and realised who it was. He came over to say hello. He can't talk. He just moves his head around. My brother then realised that my friend doesn't
<SiFuh>
know who he is. So he told him that my friend use to drink beer with me every night. He doesn't remember me at all either. 15 years of history erased after a stroke.
<SiFuh>
farkuhar: It isn't common to find rocks inside of tree trunks.
<farkuhar>
Well, sharpen the blade anyway, and then your cuts will go faster.
<SiFuh>
You can find metal though from the colonial days and idiots who tie wires and rings around trees but stones generally don't get picked up
<SiFuh>
Hold on... are you talking about the blunt blade for the reciprocal saw?
<SiFuh>
They are meant to be blunt.
<farkuhar>
I meant the chainsaw blade, when it arrives in the next couple days.
<SiFuh>
If they are too sharp they will jam into the wood and you will either drain your battery or burn out your motor
<SiFuh>
farkuhar: It's a miniscule job for a chainsaw. And I love swinging them around and chasing cats with them
<farkuhar>
zorz_: interesting that you chose a `while read` loop, instead of piping to `xargs pkgrm`. There is a threshold beyond which xargs will complain "too many arguments", but your xorg package list doesn't come anywhere close to that limit.
<farkuhar>
`xargs --show-limits` has some other interesting output, for that matter.
<farkuhar>
SiFuh: I used to love switching to the chainsaw weapon in DOOM. The graphical disembowelment of enemies was much more entertaining up close, compared to the effect of the shotgun or the rocket launcher at a distance.
<farkuhar>
I only have a few other photos from the 2017 stump removal, beyond the ones I uploaded to uguu.se, but surprisingly none of them show us using the chainsaws.
<SiFuh>
farkuhar: Was there eventually a good photo of us in Penang.
<SiFuh>
I heard the guy "Sorry can't remember his name. Ryan? Saying "Oh that's a very good photo" and what I have is a very blurry photo
<SiFuh>
I didn't realise that uwumeowmeownyaa uwu meow meow nyaa
<SiFuh>
I just saw a blur blur blur and today I decided to have a proper look at the name.
<zorz_>
farkuhar: since i had a txt file with the packages... i thought a while loop reading the txt is okay
<zorz_>
never used xargs
<SiFuh>
farkuhar: I still haven't removed the stumps yet. It requires more work so that I don't damage the mains water supply.
<SiFuh>
Also I squeezed into the drain underneath and started cutting the roots. There is a section, I can't reach. I might need some special clothing and a rope around my legs so I don't get stuck. Hahaha
<farkuhar>
SiFuh: type out everybody's nick by hand, rather than relying on tab-completion in your IRC client, and you force yourself to come up with a hyphenation scheme that allows you to reconstruct the nick.
<farkuhar>
uwu-meow-meow-nyaa is precisely the hyphenation scheme I use, when referring to those gratuitous "GNU/Linux" references over in #crux.
<farkuhar>
zorz_: the while loop is more robust; it doesn't run up against OS-defined limits the way that xargs might do. But those limits are more of a problem when iterating through the footprint of a massive port like rust. The list of xorgs packages you posted is much smaller, and can safely be piped through xargs.
<farkuhar>
As for a "good picture" of me and SiFuh in Penang, I'm afraid we're out of luck. Only the one blurry shot made it into my photo album from that day.
<farkuhar>
When I speed-read through the chat log and see "blur blur blur", at first I think "ppetrov^ must be back online". But then I look more carefully and the poster turns out to be SiFuh.

<farkuhar>
There's an eerie lighting effect in SiFuh's IMG_3803.MOV, when the breeze pushes aside the (off-camera) leaves that cast shadows onto the stump. The change in illumination makes it look as if the reciprocating saw is creating a fire inside the stump.
<farkuhar>
zorz_: it would actually have to be `< xorg.txt xargs -n1 pkgrm`, because pkgrm can only handle one argument at a time. At that point it's essentially the same `while read -r` loop that you wrote above, in a slightly different syntax.
<SiFuh>
farkuhar: I didn't notice that but I was more annoyed with the leaf stuck to my shoulder.
<SiFuh>
farkuhar: When I climbed out the drain there were many people watching. I was drenched in mud and swet. I said "I need a beer" everyone burst out laughing. I don't understand why that was funny. But I didn't care much.
<SiFuh>
farkuhar: I still need to go back down there and squeeze my way in rat piss infested muddy waters. I am going to need a respirator but I don't have.
<SiFuh>
I ahve cleared maybe 80% of the drainage system. I really need to find a ballsy smaller person to do this job but everyone is saying "No
<SiFuh>
Most of the Asians are way smaller than me. They can fit easily but they still refuse to go down.
<SiFuh>
Shame because I can't ask the Indian neighbours, they are larger that me. And it is all the people's houses south of my home that will be saved if it gets done.
<SiFuh>
You have smaller shoulders than me farkuhar. You should come and do it ;-)
<farkuhar>
The smaller shoulders are just an illusion caused by a fractured collarbone that I got when thrown from a bike in a rear-end collision. When the bone healed, it set into a shape with smaller shoulder span than before.
<SiFuh>
You set it?
<SiFuh>
Thought I was the only one to ever set bones myself.
<SiFuh>
I mean crazy enough
<farkuhar>
But applying a variant on remiliascarlet's criterion, "whether you bring [small enough shoulders] to the project right the fuck now or not", it shouldn't matter what my shoulder span used to be, before the accident.
<SiFuh>
I broke 5 ribs on the right in a motorcycle accident and 2 ribs on the left in Judo. I put them all in myself. Although the 5 ribs on the right was a problem. Abought 45 minutes per bone. But when done, I sent a message on the computer to my friend and the second last one popped out as I lifted my arms to type and it stabbed into a muscle.
<SiFuh>
Hahahaha
<SiFuh>
After that it was so painful to sit and if I did sit down, it was so painful to get back up. I use to smoke in those days. Went to the pub and lit up a cigarette at my front gate. The wind blew it out of my hand. So since I couldn't pick it up. I tried using my foot to crush out the burning part and ended up smearing the cigarette across the concrete.
<farkuhar>
So who cares if it's a rear-end collision that makes me small enough to fit into your drainage system? The bigger issues are: getting leave to take time off work, and paying the airfare to KL. At some point it becomes more cost-effective to dangle the monetary incentive in front of your neighbours.
<SiFuh>
farkuhar: The problem is the media has everyone scared of drain water. Rat's pee has diseases in it that can kill you like meningitis. But that is viral. The one that is worse is Naegleria fowleri. If not detected soon, you go crazy and die. You get it from breathing in water through your nose.
<SiFuh>
I have Ivermectin so that issues isn't a concern to me.
<SiFuh>
What concerns me though is that most clinics, hospitals and pharmacies will not sell it to you anymore. Fucking Covid war...
<SiFuh>
Fortunately I do have a huge stock pile, I just don't want to use it unless really neccessary
<SiFuh>
Pre-Covid war I had a reasonable sized stock pile. But because of Jungle and stuff, we depleted that. So I had to buy from the pet shop, then eventually had to find on the black market.
<farkuhar>
I don't suppose programming a robot to poke around in the drainage system is a viable idea? Off-the-shelf models might have no problems getting through a narrow opening, but do they have the dexterity to do the cleanup once they're down there?
<SiFuh>
farkuhar: It's not narrow. I am just too wide in the shoulders.
<SiFuh>
And I did think about a monkey, but I don't really want to send a monkey down there.
<SiFuh>
farkuhar: In case you don't know. I mean a literal monkey. You can higher monkeys to do stuff like remove coconuts and help you move wiring in tiny tight spaces and so on.
<SiFuh>
hire*
<SiFuh>
Last time I hired a monkey was in Kelentan. I went to the coffee shop and asked the owners about a monkey for hire to get the coconuts. They called a guy over and he said "No!" that afternoon at my home, he turned up with a huge male monkey. It climbed the tree dropped every coconut at command. Jumped into the other tree that was not a coconut tree and pulled down the seed pods. When I asked how much
<SiFuh>
he said "Give me all the old coconut husks and the deal is done"
<SiFuh>
Okay....
<SiFuh>
He put the monkey in the cage on the side of his bike. Loaded up the bike trailer with husks, and off he went.
<SiFuh>
Ayie said "I thought he said no." I said "I know, and I didn't even tell him where we live"
<SiFuh>
KGB monkey guy. ;-)
<SiFuh>
Maybe he had some free time?
<SiFuh>
farkuhar: To do my front CCTV cameras, and surround sound speakers, I will need a small monkey to take the wife to the holes and poke it through. I can't use magnets because I can't make the wire jump over the aluminium cross braces
<SiFuh>
Oh, I should tell you. If you have a confined space and it is flat like a nice ceiling. Inside and outside. You can put metal on the end of the wire and use a magnet to move the cable across so need to enter inside the roof.
<SiFuh>
so no need*
<farkuhar>
The wires got crossed with the wife in that CCTV sentence. I didn't think you would entrust your wife to a monkey for such treatment (poking through holes).
<SiFuh>
HAHAH
<SiFuh>
Find a guy with a small monkey. It can pick up the cable and run to the hole. Then you put a loop through and try to pull the wire through it. But generalyl most monkeys can just poke it into the hole for you.
<SiFuh>
As cool and awesome as it is. I don't like it because the monkey owner has a leash around the monkey and yells and screams and tugs it and shouts at the monkey.
<SiFuh>
farkuhar: One of the things about today that annoyed me was calling the wife over to take my Stetson off my head so I can crawl into the start of the drain. Can't remove with my mud covered glove hands.
<SiFuh>
The other thing was her watching me and saying "I married a man." HAHAHA telling me soyboy Chinese can't do what I do.
<SiFuh>
"Can you stop saying that? I know I am a man. I have balls and I don't eat soy.. fuck"
<SiFuh>
zorz_: Pulling the trees out of the ground she says "Wow, if you really punched me in the face, do you think I'd be dead now?"
<SiFuh>
HAHAHA stupid thing to ask
<SiFuh>
She does say a lot of useless shit. Like she needs to make noise.
<SiFuh>
farkuhar: You don't mind wearing shorts?
<SiFuh>
I hated shorts since I was a kid. I hated the wind moving my leg hairs around.
<SiFuh>
In Asia, it is generally not considered polite to wear shorts in public. I felt at home :-P
<zorz_>
okay!
<SiFuh>
zorz_: Sometimes it pays to read the destructions.
<zorz_>
?
<zorz_>
what do you mean?
<SiFuh>
I bought a collar that beeps if the dog barks. I figured out most of it but had no idea what the other number meant. I also set it to beep and buzz. So the dog went insane when the buzzing started and tried leaping a metre into the air yelping. It was set to timeout at 7. So I disabled the buzzer and set it to 3 for the timeout.
<SiFuh>
After... I read the destructions.
<SiFuh>
Now she barks. The collar beeps and she stops and looks around. The look on her face "Where did that beep come from?"
<SiFuh>
Oh and it is a buzzer, not electrocute.
<SiFuh>
So if the buzzer is set, it vibrates
<zorz_>
its cool
<SiFuh>
zorz_: remiliascarlet: farkuhar: The destructions have a warning label. "This is for a pet, do not use on children"
<zorz_>
lol
<SiFuh>
HAHAHA, I prefer Chloroform for children and nagging women.
<SiFuh>
I think around 2011, I made up a batch of Chloroforn for my friends wife. It ended up becoming a personal joke amongst all of us. When Rocket Rods kid starts screaming. Guy and I would look at eachother and say together "Chloroform"
<SiFuh>
Shame he has lost 15 years of our lives together after the stroke fried his brain.
<SiFuh>
zorz_: Didn't eat anything today. Not a fan of eating after hard work. So I took liberty of taking laxatives and beer so I can cleanse the system
<SiFuh>
zorz_: High in fibre. Anti-remiliascarlet diet ;-)
<zorz_>
SiFuh: its better
<zorz_>
beer
<SiFuh>
zorz_: It's like vegan shit this laxative
<SiFuh>
It's probably why lavaball talks so much shit. Bowel blockages and spewing out his mouth....
<SiFuh>
Ooooo I shouldn't have typed that hahaha
<SiFuh>
Since remiliascarlet banned him, I might disable my ignoreluser.pl script.
<SiFuh>
She did an IP ban anyway, so when his IP changes he could come back again. Although he said he never would.
<SiFuh>
zorz_: When I was a kid we were taught only humans can dream. Today was interesting. Aunt Sally was sleeping at the front door. I could see she was dreaming. I walked up and started poking her side with my finger. I reckon, I was poking her for over 2 minutes. I only stopped when her breathing became heavy and she started snorting and sniffing and running in her sleep.
<SiFuh>
I have seen in my life many mammals that dream in their sleep.
<zorz_>
never thought of that... but they should dream as we do
<zorz_>
dont forget the most dangerous animal is human.
<zorz_>
especially fascist homo sapiens
<SiFuh>
zorz_: In school I always dreamed to be a herpetologist. After every non-fiction book I ever read about repitles and amphibians, I moved onto books about other animals. What I hated was my teachers always teaching us bullshit. I was more qualified in a sense then they were and the shit they'd say was unbelievable. I did have sever teachers though who recognised my knowledge and would ask me whilst
<SiFuh>
teaching class if it was true. I liked those teachers.
<SiFuh>
zorz_: Mosquito dude.
<SiFuh>
Humans are NOT animals
<SiFuh>
zorz_: We don't fit into the animal kingdom at all. It is like we were GMO created beings, maybe from an alien race or something from another planet.
<SiFuh>
Evolution by theory is suppose to make use stronger, smarter, more efficient. So why the fuck aren't there sentient octopi around?
<SiFuh>
Instead humans by that theory have de-evolved. We have weaker bodies, weaker immune system, weard feet and bobble heads.
<SiFuh>
You don't have monkeys in Greece do you?
<zorz_>
no
<zorz_>
sorry we have
<SiFuh>
You should go and watch them then
<zorz_>
10 million monkeys live in greece
<zorz_>
hahaha
<SiFuh>
Ass
<zorz_>
we are full of monkeys
<SiFuh>
Watch monkeys and you will be in awe at their awesomeness
<zorz_>
and suddenly as i deal with rocm you make me lough
<SiFuh>
Also the Dawinian theory has a lot of errors. They can't figure out how we evolved the ability to speak since it just doesn't fit the throat and mouth passages of any known monkey species
<SiFuh>
But the one that always trips the scientists (Pun intended) is the human's feet. It is such a shit design compared to the animal kingdom that they can't explain it.
<zorz_>
i dont believe that we came from monkeys
<SiFuh>
I don't either but I don't disagree with evoluton.
<zorz_>
SiFuh: wanna do something productive ?
<zorz_>
:P
<SiFuh>
I think that certain life had evolved by guidence
<zorz_>
help package a few packages.
<SiFuh>
No, I want to smoke a cigar, take a shower and sleep
<zorz_>
okay... enjoy
<SiFuh>
Have to be ready for my tsunami shit flood thanks to laxatives
<SiFuh>
Actually I want to ask farkuhar or any other American in this channel a question. Maybe you might no in Europe
<SiFuh>
There was a scene in a black and white movie or something where a guy was playing with his hat. He'd lift it like Charlie Chaplin, flip it around, throw it all over the place and catch it and it was quite funny.
<SiFuh>
And I don't think it was Buster Keaton or Charlie Chaplin.
<SiFuh>
no/know
<SiFuh>
I just realised farkuhar's shirt says "This shirt contains high grade human body"
<SiFuh>
He plays with 'By The Way' like farkuhar was commenting about.
<zorz_>
Georgia
<SiFuh>
zorz_: We still have a liver problem. She picks it out and eats everything else. Then when she realises there is nothing left to eat, she slowly sniffs around and ignores the liver as doggly possible and then starts poaching pieces one by one over the course of an hour or more.
<SiFuh>
I have never seen a dog do this.
<SiFuh>
It has been going on for a few weeks now.
<SiFuh>
I guess it is time to never buy liver again. She must smell something is wrong with these livers
<SiFuh>
zorz_: I didn't smoke a cigar. Too lazy hahaha
<zorz_>
the cutle was not black
<SiFuh>
English dude
<zorz_>
joe bidden
<zorz_>
i am watching your video man
<SiFuh>
I kind of guessed after you said Joe Biden
<SiFuh>
That dude is a fucking moron.
<SiFuh>
Even when he could speak, he was just a compulsive liar and a loud mouth.
<SiFuh>
Tump says Zelensky's talk was a failure and Zelensky says Trump will support Ukraine.
<SiFuh>
Tump? Hehe Trump
<SiFuh>
Hows this zorz_. Brother finds Guy and tells me about him. I sent him an old email from Besty. Besty hasn't emailed me in around 2 years. Then the day I did that Besty replies out of the blue...
<SiFuh>
that/then
<zorz_>
dont know man
<SiFuh>
Do you know woman?
<SiFuh>
Did you know Isaac Newton was writing secretly between the lines about the church and was against the church but beleived in God? Did you also know he was against all theories than mankind evolved from animals? But do you want to know the coolest part?
<SiFuh>
Isaac Newton died around 1720 and Darwin was born in 1809?
<SiFuh>
This means Newton knew nothing of Darwinism... unless it was copied from early text that Darwin poached.
<SiFuh>
And we will enver know..
<SiFuh>
never*
<zorz_>
no need to know. the less you know the better it is
<SiFuh>
Wrong
<SiFuh>
The more you know the better you become.
<zorz_>
yes
<SiFuh>
I found my coveralls. I might wear the tight coveralls when I crawl into the drain this week
<SiFuh>
I still need some rope though. In case I get stuck. Maybe some burly Indian lass can yank me out.
<SiFuh>
All the Chinese here are soyboys
<SiFuh>
Actually remiliascarlet probably is stronger than the Chinese here
<SiFuh>
Sounds like some of those mens are missing parts of their genitals.
<SiFuh>
Hahah had to say it. Aussie + Malaysian slang
<SiFuh>
In Aussie slang a ribeye of a pork chop is slang for you penis
<SiFuh>
In Malaysia telur (egg) is slang for testicals
<zorz_>
heh
<SiFuh>
In Lepar there is a cool Malay guy called Bob. Yeah, silly name. I call him Bobylon. We were talking about frying pans vs crocodiles. He said "I am not scared of crodiles. I have my own and it is huge"
<zorz_>
ooo fuuck rocm, needs compiler-rt and all the caca, better to create 40gb partion with artix
<SiFuh>
zorz_: My mother is online. Cool.
<zorz_>
its morning over there no ?
<SiFuh>
5:49 in AU
<SiFuh>
3:49 in MY
<SiFuh>
2:49 in TH
<zorz_>
22:50 greece
<SiFuh>
Bet you buy 10/40 grease
<zorz_>
in finland
<SiFuh>
Bet/better*
<zorz_>
finland is the same time
<zorz_>
22:50
<SiFuh>
You didn't get the joke?
<zorz_>
ppetrov is lucky
<zorz_>
hahhaa
<zorz_>
10/40
<zorz_>
yes usually is 10/40 here
<SiFuh>
Yeah, it is for oil not grease but stil a joke
<SiFuh>
I flatly refuse to allow anyone to put LSD oil in my differentials
<zorz_>
depends, a winter like 10 years ago we had minus 15 for a month
<SiFuh>
I have had huge arguments about it.
<zorz_>
last year was the warmest winter ever
<SiFuh>
10w 40 still works in -15 well
<zorz_>
no 10 40 we are
<SiFuh>
I said that
<zorz_>
when i had the fto, i used to use redline, amazing oil
<SiFuh>
And the viscosity and weight?
<zorz_>
its base is polyaster
<SiFuh>
I don't like synthetics
<SiFuh>
They deterioate so fast
<SiFuh>
LSD diff oil is like that.
<SiFuh>
If I had an LSD, sure. But I use an STD. SO NO LSD OIL!
<zorz_>
LSD is good only in pills
<SiFuh>
And yes I know 10w 40 is for engines
<zorz_>
ofcourse you do
<SiFuh>
I am pretty picky about the oil and grease I use. All my mechanics know that if you put the wrong shit in, I will feel it and know straight away.
<SiFuh>
Not even 100 metres down the road, I will do a U-TURN and head back.
<SiFuh>
I drove out of Lepar for example and there was water in my diff. I drained it the next day and saw the water in it. I then replaced it with new oil.
<SiFuh>
farkuhar: There was two guys in the scene
<SiFuh>
farkuhar: That is Johnny Depp!
<SiFuh>
farkuhar: I always liked his acting skills. What pissed me off was when he was calling for the murder of a US president.
<zorz_>
johnny depp,, he likes everything,,, black white liquid
<SiFuh>
zorz_: I am also very picky about radiator fluid :-P
<zorz_>
put water
<SiFuh>
No
<zorz_>
its hot there
<zorz_>
hehe
<SiFuh>
zorz_: True story. I went outside and saw purple stains around my truck. Then I saw the green drip. If I had water, I would have never know my radiator pipes work leaking.
<zorz_>
hmmmmmmm but if you get the binaries from artix,,, maybe not mybe it should work
<zorz_>
okkk
<SiFuh>
In Malaysia the airconditioning leaks water so much it becomes normal. So it would be easy to think that the leaking radiator of water was the airconditioner. You know what happens if your radiator has no fluid? Cooked heads. Thousands of dollars damage.
<SiFuh>
Now all my mechanics are using coolant in their radiator. We are using the Japanese coolant. It is only in Japanese.
<SiFuh>
So they often call me because they forgot the ration because we buy it in pure form and have to pre-mix with distilled water
<SiFuh>
ratio*
<SiFuh>
zorz_: If you use water that isn't distilled the minerals inside corrode your engine
<zorz_>
i was joking
<zorz_>
my village water has very low minerals/salt some families have laundry machines over my age 45 years working
<SiFuh>
When I was a teenager, I use to be paid money to wash my neighbour down the roads Jeep Renegade. His wifes car got too hot but she still got it home. The husband was standing there using tap water to cool the radiator and fll it with water. He was saying "Fucking females, stupid fucking bitches. They know nothing about cars" All I could see was a fat old man using water on a hot engine and filling the
<SiFuh>
radiator with water. I bit my tongue.
<zorz_>
for as radiator fluid is important cause of cold
<SiFuh>
zorz_: Yes ratios
<zorz_>
if you forget it,,, you will change the fridge
<SiFuh>
I use a 70/30 mix but in Japan it would be 40/60
<SiFuh>
Water is first and coolant is second.
<SiFuh>
Yes. Primary ingredient is anti-freeze
<SiFuh>
But you can also use vodka.
<SiFuh>
But you can't have leaks so it isn't recomended since most people have tiny leaks in the radiator
<SiFuh>
But in emergency, I'd use river water or vodka if it was snowing.
<SiFuh>
I doubt I'd use vodka though. Why waste good booze

hi , any of you here train combat sports?
<SiFuh>
Yes
<SiFuh>
And another memember who is not online.
<kh1b>
what do you do?
<SiFuh>
Win
<SiFuh>
Any means neccessary
<kh1b>
shit that's brutal
<SiFuh>
I think you need to be specific at what you are looking at. Such as weapons, no weapons, wrestling, kicking, punching,
<kh1b>
martial arts ?
<SiFuh>
Yes and in mine we are trained in poisons, guns, explosives, traps and so on as well as fighting with hands and feet and body
<SiFuh>
The other guy is very well trained but he won't do guns and explosives and stuff.
<kh1b>
never did that stuff
<kh1b>
i am grappler
<SiFuh>
So you are looking at training in a martial arts?
<SiFuh>
Grappling is my favorite. We play it when drinking.
<kh1b>
i already train
<kh1b>
i do bjj
<SiFuh>
So now we have a 3rd CRUXer that is trained or training for combat sports
<SiFuh>
I don't know what is bjj
<SiFuh>
Brazilian jiu-jitsu <--?
<kh1b>
jujitsu
<kh1b>
yeah
<SiFuh>
Nice. The second guy is from Brazil
<SiFuh>
But he trains in Chinese martial arts
<SiFuh>
Maybe you can talk to him when he is online.
