<remiliascarlet> I went to an elevator, and I met a true covidian. A guy who looks like he got beaten up by someone (probably because of the lethal injections), I went to the elevator too, and he immediately went 2 meters away from me. When I offered him to ride the elevator with me, he refused, and as soon as the doors closed and the elevator started going up, he pressed the button to get another elevator.
<remiliascarlet> Really, some people are truly hopeless.
<remiliascarlet> And yes, he was wearing a mask. And yes, I didn't.

<remiliascarlet> GNU calls their DNS alternative "GNS". The first thing that comes to mind is "Gay Nigger System".
<remiliascarlet> I saw this on #monero-offtopic, but I said it here instead, because Monero has a CoC now, therefore they no longer have free speech.
<farkuhar> Heh, qt6-webengine has build errors even after applying the workaround (dup of qt6-base) that darfo mentioned on the mailing list. If anyone needed a reason to eradicate this bloatware and go with something simpler like netsurf, here's the latest Gitea issue: https://git.crux.nu/ports/opt/issues/5
<farkuhar> I can't be bothered to try reproducing darfo's issue. If compiling this beast has a reputation of wearing out hard disks, I'd prefer to conserve the finite number of write/erase cycles and use them when building other ports.

<farkuhar> Maybe it was too much of a stretch to draw a parallel between linux-pam in core, and darfo's request for qt6-base to have cups as a hard dependency. The latter would be more convenient for other ports (just like putting linux-pam in core), but darfo might take offense at the comparison.
