It's not a problem but the reason I prefer to use a custom table is because I can easily umount /usr/ or /usr/local or /usr/X11R6 and still have the default OpenBSD system. I can format them easily. They are seperate from the entire system. If a program is messing around or crashing, I can umount that partition it is on. I also can set certain flags and permitions on each mounted partition to stop
