i mean, i don't entirely disagree that at some point we're literally just going to live in some hybrid of the matrix and psycho-pass

the problem is that the (essentially) free money that that generates isn't going to be equally shared without the government stepping in

and so you're going to have a growing population unable to acquire enough wealth to sustain itself because the divide between the poor and the rich will continue to grow

not because the poor are "bottom dwellers" universally, but because the only jobs that will exist will be the professions
