<niceguy5000[m]> yeah it's works perfectly, you're not wasting electricity and you're doing something useful like compiling software.
<niceguy5000[m]> if you're an full stack electron developer, you will be good in the winter.
<niceguy5000[m]> <midfavila> "-42C outside today" <- the coldest it gets here is 40 degrees and that's super chill here.
<sewn> same
<niceguy5000[m]> what do ya think of genode?
<sewn> >C++
<Ellowee[m]> add ci before de to the word

<midfavila> sorry i was actually off by five degrees
<midfavila> -47C
<midfavila> wild
<sewn> wild
<midfavila> close to the coldest i've ever seen
<midfavila> ...and then in two days it's supposed to be 1C :V
<midfavila> should get a cloak at this point, coats are completely insufficient on their own in this sort of weather

<niceguy5000[m]> <midfavila> "should get a cloak at this point..." <- superman in the making.
<sad_plan> next on the list is wearing his underpants outside his pants like a dufus
<midfavila> bold implications there
<midfavila> :^)
<midfavila> i'd be too self-conscious to do that anyway lmao
<sad_plan> lol
<midfavila> but no, cloak would be nice to have on top of a coat, just to keep most of the wind off me. layers and all that
<midfavila> help keep my lower body out of the cold too, bleh
<sad_plan> Im not sure if a cloak would be the most effective choice for keeping warm either tbh.
<sad_plan> layers as you said, wool, fleese, and down is really good. and something breathable on top, like a goretex jacket, to keep you try
<sad_plan> that is if keeping try is of a priority. if its not raining, theres no reason to
<midfavila> dry isn't a problem, winters here are bone dry. just need a heavier top layer
<sad_plan> nice
<midfavila> as is my jacket is tanned leather with two layers of cotton for insulation. it's perfectly fine, it's just... well, it's only a jacket
<midfavila> reminds me that i need to get a sewing kit, there are a few rips on the interior... remember kids, home economics class will probably be more useful to you than anything else in high school
