conchuod: it depends on two things: is this a power management unit or a performance measurement unit? And is it part of the SoC, is it implemented with an abstract firmware interface, or is it a separate chip?

right, we never really established a separate subsystem for that. There is drivers/power/supply/, which is used for some external PMUs, but then some are part of drivers/mfd, drivers/clk/ or drivers/regulator depending on what the main interface is that they hook up to
