does anyone of a diagram of how to connect to the serial port on a renegade? there are some silkscreen markings but they are ambiguous
<DC-IRC>
<Werner> Select CSC/EOS from board selection menu. You will find R2 there. No guarantee/help that it compiles or boots since state is unknown.
<FrancescoITA>
Thanks, i'll try

Werner i had try but arrive in compile.sh with a problem - > error! [ Unsupported build system: 'kali-rolling' ]
<FrancescoITA>
i must change my virtual machine operative system ?
<DC-IRC>
<Werner> Documentation clearly states about supported build environment
<FrancescoITA>
The officially supported compilation environment is Ubuntu Jammy 22.04.x amd64 only! <---- Sorry
<DC-IRC>
<igorpec> this build target is not supported. Try forums if you find someone that is dealnig with this particular hardware ... we can only help here with general things like to get framework up and ready to compile some generic target

<viraniac> Kali is based on debian, so theoretically build should work fine. Try adding NO_HOST_RELEASE_CHECK=yes to the compile.sh command. As mentioned by Igor, it not officially supported though. I will suggest installing docker and building using the same for best experience

<rpardini> Yes. Use Docker.

<DC-IRC>
<shivasiddhalt> ?
<DC-IRC>
<viraniac> @shivasiddhalt burn the image file again on your sd card. Thats fresh install. Other than that I am not sure if there is any other way implemented in Armbian right now. Maybe others can correct me if I am wrong
<DC-IRC>
<shivasiddhalt> oh ok

<tenkawa42> on multi platforms especially
<DC-IRC>
<jkent.net> ah -- i'm not a fan of etcher, i think its bloated.. but verify is better than no verify... but in practice i use known good cards and dd + sync
<DC-IRC>
<jkent.net> ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
<DC-IRC>
<tenkawa42> Yeah I use dd first.. but for gui.. rpi imager
<DC-IRC>
<jackn01> etcher has telemetry on by default
