<Stefano Roncalli> hi all, I'm trying to change default plymouth and using mine. I would like to setup it during compilation of my custom image so I create my custom conf file with an hook like that
<Armbian-Discord>
<Stefano Roncalli> ```
<Armbian-Discord>
<Stefano Roncalli> function post_customize_image__write_my_custom_plymouth() {
<Armbian-Discord>
<Stefano Roncalli> I can see hook called during compilation but I see default plymouth at boot.
<Armbian-Discord>
<Stefano Roncalli> After boot, if I try run sudo update-alternatives --config default.plymouth I can see my custom theme as selected, but I've to run sudo update-initramfs -u to see it.
<Armbian-Discord>
<Stefano Roncalli> I tested my hook without chroot_sdcard update-initramfs -u before, because I see "post_customize_image" hooks runs before "pre_update_initramfs" once.
<Armbian-Discord>
<Stefano Roncalli> Before that, I've also tried to hook "pre_update_initramfs" without luck.
<Armbian-Discord>
<Stefano Roncalli> Any idea?
<Armbian-Discord>
<Stefano Roncalli> thank you in advance!
<Armbian-Discord>
<IgorPec> why would you want to change our cool logo?

<Armbian-Discord>
<Stefano Roncalli> it's a customer request
<Armbian-Discord>
<Stefano Roncalli> we're preparing some device that they had in public places and they would like to see their logo during boot
<Armbian-Discord>
<amazingfate> What about just modifying the armbian's theme?
<Armbian-Discord>
<Stefano Roncalli> it may be an alternative but I'm trying to use a custom one to learn how to fully operate with it and not just make some arrangements

<IgorPec> "customer request" ??? and who are we in your biz case?
<Armbian-Discord>
<IgorPec> do you support our work to have moral rights to ask for help here?
<Armbian-Discord>
<Stefano Roncalli> I write in private, I'm only a developer that try to complete a project for a customer. I'm speaking with my boss to become a sponsor/support of Armbian but he want to be sure that Armbian is the right choice
<Armbian-Discord>
<Stefano Roncalli> and I'll glad to become an active supporter because I think Armbian is very a good operating system
<Armbian-Discord>
<IgorPec> we provide partnership program exactly for such reasons
<Armbian-Discord>
<Stefano Roncalli> ok, I'll talk with my boss asap to subscribe one of them
<Armbian-Discord>
<IgorPec> if you try to force us to pay for your experiments, we will treat you as deserved. If you partner with us, we will treat you as human. If you will choose Armbian or not, I don't care. Its the time I will waste because of you or not.
<Armbian-Discord>
<Stefano Roncalli> Sorry, I didn't want to force anyone to do anything for my experiments, I was just asking for help, without expecting it.
<Armbian-Discord>
<IgorPec> you have a problem with running armbian?
<Armbian-Discord>
<IgorPec> you have a problem with making money from armbian?
<Armbian-Discord>
<IgorPec> those are two very different questions
<Armbian-Discord>
<IgorPec> we don't have resources already to answer 1st easy qustions
<Armbian-Discord>
<IgorPec> as its a direct financial blow - answerinfg questions
<Armbian-Discord>
<IgorPec> who do you think answer questions??
<Armbian-Discord>
<IgorPec> if you sponsor / support armbian, we can cover those 1st

<Stefano Roncalli> this is not correct. We start a couple months ago with raspberry and raspbian. After a while, we realize that raspberries are not as available as we hope so we decide to move to other "cross-platform" distro. I start to learn how to compile Armbian for different boards but I'm just doing prototype system that my boss show to his customer. If they like the prototype we can go on and start "make money". I
<Armbian-Discord>
started long type ago to speak of partnership with Armbian to my boss because I like the compilation system and I think it could be usefull for our projects (also in future). Today I ask him again, hope to start support next week
<Armbian-Discord>
<Stefano Roncalli> Anyway, I'll be back once we become partner
<willmore>
IgorPec, thanks. I'll keep an eye on that.

<MelonKami> Hello guys! I was trying to set up a BeamMP dedicated server on my RockPi, I concluded with it not being compatible with arm, could anyone have a quick look at the release files and see if that could be correct or not? I am very inexperienced with the arm architecture, and don't know how to spot if it should be able to run or not.
