<Guest84> Hey I'm new here. I tried looking everywhere but this is my last hope. I'm switching from hyprland and still learning how river works. I see super + period or comma switches to next and previous output. I'm trying to set M and N to do the same but for tags in the same output. in hyprland I have next/prev workspace but idk what the equivalent would
<Guest84> be on river. This is prob my most used keybind pls help

<Nickli> iirc Super + M/N are already used and you need something like https://github.com/NickHastings/riverwm-utils to go to prev/next tag in river

<Guest84> Oh ok so you need a seperate utility no wonder I couldn't find it anywhere haha. Hopefully it gets added to the main project it's a pretty big feature. One more question how can I use the numpad to change tabs. I tried KP_END or KP_1 for example. Some work some work am I doing something wrong?

<JustineSmithies> How is the next version of River coming along ? Is rwm in a kind of working / testable state ? I'm not pushing just interested. ;)
<ifreund> JustineSmithies: it's not feature complete or ready for end users yet. The foundations are in place though and many of the hard problems have been solved
<ifreund> its only blocked by me having free time to spend on it :)
<JustineSmithies> No worries and thanks for answering. ;)

<Franciman> hi, does river not set XDG_CURRENT_DESKTOP?
<vyivel> Franciman: a login manager is responsible for that
<Franciman> neat
<Franciman> xdg-desktop-portal is still not working :/
user21 has joined #river
<Franciman> vyivel: i don't know why, but it was enough to define it only in the dbus session and not as a bash variable
<bwbuhse> Franciman: https://github.com/emersion/xdg-desktop-portal-wlr/wiki/%22It-doesn't-work%22-Troubleshooting-Checklist have you tried the steps here
<bwbuhse> oh you got it
<Franciman> bwbuhse: but do i have to export that env variable to other stuff as well?
<Franciman> or is dbus enough?
