It would be good but keep in mind that proot has quite a few limits and you have to do a lot of workarounds or transform several things about Maemo Leste.

Example: "app manager" from Maemo. Dummy networks doesn't work. Other app managers like Synaptic do work. The only solution is for maemo's "app manager" to have less complexity and be a simple graphical "apt install".

I couldn't get OMP to work either. I will investigate but I think the problem is that the way it works is not compatible with using proot.

-devel users, conversations is now default for sms on -devel, and sphone will use the voicecallmanager module
