<DC-IRC> <Redwyn> The official ones don't work, but mangopi has some modified images available. I'm thinking I could use them to defer how they got it to run?

<DC-IRC> <Jason123> i meant the armbian images
<DC-IRC> <Redwyn> Yeah, I know
<DC-IRC> <Redwyn> the official armbian images for the orangepi zero 2 don't work, the only thing I suspect is that it has something to do with the initrd image being for sunxi and not sun50iw9
<DC-IRC> <Redwyn> But I'm not 100% certain on it

<DC-IRC> <Werner> the x in sunxi is just a placeholder to combine a whole family of chip codenames like sun4i or also sun50i where latter could be sun50iw1 (A64), sun50iw2 (H5) sun50iw6 (H6) or sun50iw9 (H616). By default sun50iw9 should be included within sunxi. However sometimes this isn't possible, especially when vendor bsp sources need to be used in order to get a halfway functioning board until mainline catches up or never will.

<focus> Hi I ask around a little for this answer but replies. Problem summarized here: http://www.orangepi.org/orangepibbsen/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=146061&extra=page%3D1
<focus> I got a M.2 JMB585 5 port SATA drive.
<focus> I have it working on Orange PI 5 while booting up on TF card
<focus> But I want to boot it off flash and use the armbian-config to do that successfully for M.2 real SATA SSD, but not SATA drive hanging off JMB585
<focus> It seems the ahci driver is loading up late to recognize the root UUID
<focus> And then it drops to emergency shell
<focus> Any thoughts on forcing the ahci drive to run first before looking for root UUID?
<focus> (driver)
<focus> (I intend to print a 3D case with these cables screwed down to make custom 5 port removable sata drive bay that can take 3.5" and 2.5" SATA drives)
<focus> These sata cables have 'wings' which can be screwed down - https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005005481328898.html
