hi there! i just installed armbian on a cubieboard v3 (cubietruck). that worked very nicely! i then configured the system a bit and just now installed cinnamon-desktop-environment

rebooted the system, could watch the entire boot until i belived the login manager started

now i have a black screen (attached via hdmi) that goes into suspend on tty7

works nicely on all other ttys

i checked the Xorg.log for errors (grep EE): but there are none

kernel reported an error though: "couldnt create the hdmi audio adapter" but... not sure this is relevant for video output

ah, i think i found a familiar error in the kernel log: "lima: mmu page fault at 0x297c2c0 from bus id 0 of type read on gpmmu"

i found some people who have similar issue, and somebody wrote a patch... from reading their posts: sounds like i need to download kernel sources, patch one of the files and then recompile the kernel.

i am trying to make use of that old sbc by using it as a "browser" to display grafana stats and control iot-devices. i also have a 24" touchscreen for that purpose... BUT: i cant get xorg to work with that mali400 gpu
