<niobos> Hi, I'm getting errors when trying to update my system:
<niobos> E: Failed to fetch http://mirrors.netix.net/armbian/apt/dists/bullseye/main/binary-arm64/Packages.gz File has unexpected size (321680 != 191971). Mirror sync in progress? [IP: 2a00:1728:20::2 80]
<niobos> I've retried this a few times, and it seems to be consistent over multiple mirrors

<f00b4r0> Hi, all armbian mirrors for bullseye armhf seem to carry an invalid Release file leading to an apt size mismatch error on Packages.gz. Is this known?
<niobos> f00b4r0: I just reported the same thing. I'm happy to see that I'm not the only one
<f00b4r0> I tried half a dozen mirrors, they all have the same issue so I'm guessing the source file was incorrect

<Armbian-Discord> <IgorPec> Wait a day

<niobos> Thanks IgorPec, directly using imula works indeed.

<lanefu> IgorPec: did we rebuild bullseye arm32 recently?
<Armbian-Discord> <IgorPec> Edge packages are auto updated also in stable repo
<Armbian-Discord> <IgorPec> So, yes. This vm was on failed drive ... But i was able to copy it down without errors. Need to investigate

<Armbian-Discord> <bret> Just to check, was there an issue with the mirror I submitted via the contact form a little while ago? I only ask as I see the list updated early this morning but it's not mentioned
<Armbian-Discord> <bret> I was planning to bring up a couple of others in the coming weeks when I get time so if there was an issue I can sort it on any others if need 🙏
<Armbian-Discord> <IgorPec> sorry, email pile up
<Armbian-Discord> <IgorPec> 2-3 weeks response time is best what is possible
<Armbian-Discord> <bret> no worries!
<Armbian-Discord> <bret> Is there a better way to notify you if I bring any others up in the next week or so? So that you can do them all in one go if that's easier

<[TheBug]> This is the story of CVE-2022-0847, a vulnerability in the Linux kernel since 5.8 which allows overwriting data in arbitrary read-only files. This leads to privilege escalation because unprivileged processes can inject code into root processes.
<[TheBug]> The vulnerability was fixed in Linux 5.16.11, 5.15.25 and 5.10.102.

<IgorPec> bret: forgot to ask - what is the connection on the mirror?
