Myrl-saki: about 80%-90%; the DSP support is not as complete as it could be, but all the fundamentals are battle-tested at this point
<Myrl-saki>
Thanks. :) I'm deciding between helping with Apicula and buying an ECP5 board, probably gonna do both though. I want to work on larger projects, and I think an ECP5-based board is one of the easier ones to find?
<Myrl-saki>
How about Xilinx support? There's someone selling an EBAZ4205 here, and I'm thinking about getting that too, but I have no idea if it's easy to get it to work with Yosys and OpenFPGAloader
<lofty>
Myrl-saki: don't bother with Xilinx parts on the open tooling
<Myrl-saki>
Ah. :x Welps, the ECP5 it is. : P I guess that's also no on the NiteFury(for now?). Thanks. :)
<lofty>
I mean, there's the Intel Cyclone V...
<Myrl-saki>
Yeah, I checked around, and seems like the cheapest I can get an ECP5 board here is around ~80 or so USD.
<Myrl-saki>
So I'm actually checking some other things rn.
<Myrl-saki>
I'll take a look at what's available here too.
<Myrl-saki>
Er, what Cyclone V boards are available here too*
<Myrl-saki>
Just to clarify: Cyclone V is supported with yosys + nextpnr + presumably OpenFPGALoader?
