freemangordon: wrt paralell lipos, in general no issue, just make sure to they are close in terms of state of charge when you first connect them. having 2 parralell bms causes some non ideal behavior but mostly ones not relevant to the application in a mobile device.

the main one being that you cant load the cells to thair full c rating as differences in ir and the bms fets will cause one bms to cut out early on current spikes, which can create interesting ripple because the current constantly shift between the cells as one cell cuts in and out

but thats only applicable when discharging cells fast with current limiting bms
