zyp: Nice! thanks for sharing; I haven't looked at out moving the software libs to the core repositories yet, but if you have ideas on this and want to experiment it for liblitehyperbus, this could be a nice occasion to start discussing/working on this

I was thinking a bit about it yesterday, and I think a good starting point would be introducing templating for the makefile and main.c so that source file paths and code fragments can be injected, respectively
