It's meant to be a half-way house for people who develop OpenBSD, and wish to not use CVS but still use CVS-like tooling.

As it happens, since it uses git as a transport system, it's also an alternative git UI as well.

I was thinking about porting it to oasis' buildsystem in my repo, and slowly switch over, much like you do. I enjoy tools which are much smaller, while still providing a funcional amount of features

probably depends on who you ask. but if youre needs are somewhat simple, like only commits, pull/push, sometime rebase, I suppose yes
