<remiliascarlet>
It's true that science and math doesn't explain why we exist, and religion does. But the reasons religion gives makes no sense. So I'd rather exist for no reason than exist for bullshit reasons.
<dlcusa>
As I said (and John mentioned), it comes down to trust rooted in evidence. If you remain objective about evidence without closing your mind, the right evidence will come along at the right time. In the meantime, maintain your devotion to logic and truth.
<dlcusa>
I should probably mention Josh McDowell's "Evidence That Demands a Verdict" multi-volume set (the first is often plenty).

remiliascarlet: Evolution is not a fact. It is a theory. The real brainwashing and indoctrination was done in school and on TV.
<SiFuh>
I think the only evidence of *a* human evolving from a monkey is George Bush.
<SiFuh>
One of the greatest unexplained mysteries in science is 'sexual dimorphism'. Although, you shouldn't bring that up with a leftard. They will lose it.
<farkuhar>
I finally built enough software on the CRUX MUSL laptop to test 2FA with YubiKeys on the website that has been causing problems with the ThinkPad. Amazingly, my YubiKey worked on the first try, compared with multiple failures on the ThinkPad (in CRUX and a ParrotOS LiveCD). So maybe it's a hardware issue after all.
<SiFuh>
:-) my kernel?
<farkuhar>
SiFuh: I might want to explore the possibility of building a new kernel on the ThinkPad. I haven't updated it since installing from the unofficial CRUX ISO last October.
<remiliascarlet>
"We don't have skeletons dug up." And we have no rain falling out of the sky, weather is just a theory.
<SiFuh>
I always believe thet kernels should be highly modular for laptops because more external devices are connected to them than a regular desktop or a server
<farkuhar>
I thought I could have ruled out the "old kernel" explanation by running the latest ParrotOS liveCD, and also testing 2FA with Yubico's own demo site (which happened to work on the ThinkPad). Apparently it's not that simple.
<SiFuh>
remiliascarlet: Do your research and you will see that they have nothing complete. They find a 5mm size bone fragment and suddenly they have created a fully formed homonid and their gender.
<SiFuh>
remiliascarlet: A dude find a tooth like thing. Thinks it is a horn and puts it on the nose of a drawing for a giant lizard like creature. Later that horn would be moved to the thumbs. They had no other evidence. So where the heck did he get a giant lizard from?
<remiliascarlet>
dlcusa: "If you remain objective about evidence without closing your mind," And the same goes for the opposing party as well.
<SiFuh>
remiliascarlet: But it seems you are the one closing your mind following the government funded indoctrination
<remiliascarlet>
Not at all.
<SiFuh>
I gave you a PDF for alien manipulation of the human race.
<SiFuh>
Yet, I am a bible believer
<remiliascarlet>
In fact, I have accumulated all sorts of stories from all sorts of sides, and simply picked the one that makes the most sense.
<SiFuh>
remiliascarlet: My theory is this. Animals evolved under a guided evolution and humans were not. They were GMO modified.
<SiFuh>
remiliascarlet: But they are all theories. So there is nothing to pick.
<remiliascarlet>
Everything you sourced from elsewhere is a theory, it's up to you to come to the most logical conclusions.
<remiliascarlet>
Of course I can't just get a time machine, travel back in time, and see how things went millions of years ago.
<remiliascarlet>
Well, even if I could, nobody would still believe me.
<SiFuh>
remiliascarlet: I think the number one unexplained things in science is 'where do dogs come from?' Selective breeding didn't do it because according to evolution dogs came from wolves. Evolution is suppose to make you better, stronger, more adaptive. So where the fuck does a Chihuahua fit in?
<SiFuh>
I bet if you lived for 10 million years, you couldn't breed a Chihuahua out of a wolf pack.
<remiliascarlet>
Not always. Men in the 1940s were large, powerful, and manly. Men today are a bunch of short, weak soyboys.
<SiFuh>
Hehehe
<SiFuh>
Chihuahuas, the soy-wolves
<remiliascarlet>
It's said that men in 2040 will be more feminine than women.
<remiliascarlet>
And women will be more masculine.
<SiFuh>
In the book of Enki that I gave you. It explains this. In fact almost all domesticated breeds of animals came from them and not us.
<remiliascarlet>
And uterus converts them into estrogen.
<SiFuh>
I do noterus.

remiliascarlet: We are at the stage of 'hard times'
<remiliascarlet>
I hope so.

Because I'm tired of the weak men.

Although not sure when I will see it, Japan always tends to be a generation behind on the rest of the world.
<SiFuh>
If you watch the old black and white Japanese movies there always seems to be a group of strong, hardcore tough men, and the village men were all pussy cowardly bowing retards
<remiliascarlet>
In some cases we remain behind forever. I mean, we still have fucking FAXes everywhere!
<SiFuh>
I have a fax
<SiFuh>
Although I disconnected it since I haven't figured out how to connect it to the mikrotik router
<remiliascarlet>
What the fax!

Suburban Commando?
<SiFuh>
That is a legendary movie
<lavaball>
never saw it.
<lavaball>
just the guy where he comes from outa space.
<lavaball>
and the one where he fights the guy with the metal bowl on his head.
<lavaball>
that's it, i think.
<SiFuh>
Suburban Commando is from outerspace
<lavaball>
i see. it's the knight from outa space in german.
<lavaball>
though now that i saw that scene, i don't think i want to watch it again.

like ever.

Christian Nationalists really need to read The Bible while they still can.
<SiFuh>
dlcusa: I agree
<SiFuh>
I never understood how a Christian can be a nationalist, a patriot or a soldier. Seems they didn't read the good book very well.
<dlcusa>
There's a place for being a good citizen and soldier when national defense is called for, but they go way too far.
<SiFuh>
I disadree with the first part
<SiFuh>
disagree
<dlcusa>
What they want is not what the Founding Fathers and their constituents established.
<SiFuh>
You are a of god not of a nation therefore you are no citizen and you shall enver be a soldier
<SiFuh>
Wow, my fingers are broken
<dlcusa>
Then you should just let the Monguls wipe you and your family out? I think self-defense is justifiable.
<SiFuh>
This is a problem of the ages
<SiFuh>
To die or not to die. What is the right way?
<dlcusa>
But "as far as it depends upon you, be at peace with all men."
<SiFuh>
dlcusa: I have weapons and I am very well trained. But this issue is a big thing for me. Because I wonder. What would Jesus do?
<dlcusa>
As my favorite IBM mainframe performance specialist is famous for saying, "It depends..."
<SiFuh>
dlcusa: I was always told. "If unsure just think what Jesus would do"
<dlcusa>
We know what He did the first time here. We read what He will do when He returns. It's situational, even for Him.
<SiFuh>
dlcusa: Interested on your translation of the return
<SiFuh>
Seems people think he is coming back as a human
<dlcusa>
I'm a pan-millenialist--it will all pan out in The End. ;-)
<SiFuh>
I think if Jesus returns he won't be human.
<dlcusa>
I think there's as much symbolism in Revelation as Genesis--matching book-ends.
<SiFuh>
It isn't logical
<dlcusa>
"It doesn't make sense."
<SiFuh>
Revelations make sense
<dlcusa>
But how literal versus symbolic? TBD.
<SiFuh>
Anyway. The 10 commandments was quite clear. Though shalt not kill. There is nothing about self defence.
<dlcusa>
NO! Thou shalt not murder.
<SiFuh>
dlcusa: Did I tell you about the stealing one?
<dlcusa>
Or do you eat muscle tissue with its blood still flowing?
<SiFuh>
The 10 commandments are divided into two sections. First 5 is for God and the second for man.
<SiFuh>
All are death sentences.
<SiFuh>
No I do not...
<SiFuh>
The 10 commandments makes theft a death sentence... but the Hebrews had many laws about stealing.
<SiFuh>
From what I see the stealing is not correct and it is more to do with Kidnapping. Stealing actual people
<dlcusa>
Property rights are very well supported. Still, 98% capitalism but 2% socialism in the years of Jubilee.
<SiFuh>
dlcusa: If you have time, I'd like you to look into my proposal that there is a mistranslation and it has nothing to do with property but kidnapping.
<dlcusa>
That interests me, but I'll have to make time. Speaking of which, later...
<SiFuh>
Yeah, I do know theft was a big thing and the first theft was the punishment of death.
<SiFuh>
But why make many laws for theft if the 10 commandments were absolute?
<SiFuh>
And I like the murder vs kill part you mentioned
<SiFuh>
It opens the door way to new thinking.
<SiFuh>
Chances are if any officer comes here with an injection to inject us, I'd be slicing throats
<SiFuh>
And the fact many countries make self-defense illegal shows me that something isn't right
<SiFuh>
You know someone once said. Okay not someone. I know him very well and he worked for the police in Australia. He said this. "No Australian is subject to any law in Australia, unless they break one." This is the most awesome thing I ever heard.
<SiFuh>
In the TV series Home Improvement Randy got his licence but he is not allowed to drive at night time because when Brad got his, he drove and had an accident. So why is Randy being punished?
<SiFuh>
If I want a gun and have never commited a single crime, why should I be punished because some drug fucked moron decided to shoot up a brothel?
