<schwarz_Kat> IgorPec: I built from branch 'AR-1074' and it failed as before. I was not successfull at finding the cause.
<schwarz_Kat> Because nekomancer[m] had the same issue, I assumed that it was a problem with the build.
<schwarz_Kat> But just to make sure it wasn't some kind of local artifact, I cleaned the computer, removed all builds, deleted the .git configs and started fresh.
<schwarz_Kat> I cloned from a fork I made on my github about 2 weeks ago, 18 commits behind armbian/build and that too failed for the same reason.
<ArmbianHelper> AR-1074 [Story] "Switch all CURRENT to 5.15.y and EDGE to 5.16.y" reported by Igor Pecovnik at 2022-01-29. Status: To Do
<schwarz_Kat> My conclusion. It's can't be something in the cloned build, it must be something being downloaded by the scripts.
<IgorPec> schwarz_Kat: please always add logs, so we can find this trouble

<schwarz_Kat> Do you have a location that I can paste to?
<IgorPec> you can use https://armbian.lane-fu.com/linx/ or pastebin
<schwarz_Kat> Pasted here. https://controlc.com/51337409
<IgorPec> what are build parameters?
<steev> can you paste the full log?
<schwarz_Kat> That is the full compilation log. Output log https://controlc.com/7a40c65c
<schwarz_Kat> Patching log https://controlc.com/b24aeb8b
<schwarz_Kat> Went through the menu selected U-boot and kernal packages, Do not change the kernal configuration, selected orangepizero, selected Current
<IgorPec> reproduced ... standby
<IgorPec> btw workaround SKIP_BOOTSPLASH="yes"
<schwarz_Kat> I was looking for an option like that in Developer-Guide_Build-Options but I don't see it there.
<IgorPec> we have very little time for maintaining this
<schwarz_Kat> Nice :)

<Armbian-Discord> <k.s.bedford.jr> SO having worked some with arm/arm64 I can say one design flaw in boards
<Armbian-Discord> <k.s.bedford.jr> not using barrel plugs for power
<Armbian-Discord> <k.s.bedford.jr> using usb-c/usb-mini/micro no
<Armbian-Discord> <k.s.bedford.jr> if they are going to use usb-c/mini/micro make shure to put 2 and mark 1 power
<Armbian-Discord> <k.s.bedford.jr> having the ports for other use would be nice
<Armbian-Discord> <k.s.bedford.jr> good morning
<Armbian-Discord> <k.s.bedford.jr> lol
<lanefu> you can see plenty of sermons about barrel blugs being superior on the forum
<lanefu> see tinkerboard-2 for the mother of all barrel plugs
<Armbian-Discord> <k.s.bedford.jr> they hold better and they dont break as easy
<Armbian-Discord> <k.s.bedford.jr> imho
<Armbian-Discord> <k.s.bedford.jr> ok so I just got jammy on the neo3 and its working in cli mode
<Armbian-Discord> <k.s.bedford.jr> so next is a img for the pi4
<Armbian-Discord> <k.s.bedford.jr> since we have them in the lab
<Armbian-Discord> <k.s.bedford.jr> the builder is very nice once you have the conf files setup for the boards
<Armbian-Discord> <k.s.bedford.jr> scripting each build makes it alot easier

<nekomancer[m]> other error on kernel compilation with extrawifi. http://sprunge.us/znpXu0
<nekomancer[m]> I think it's conflict between `8189ES` and `8723DS` extrawifi drivers. will try to disable one of them
