<LarstiQ> ifreund: tablet manager, multiple tablets, tools, proximity, up/down, moving tools between tablets and more... Yeah, I see :)

<ifreund> LarstiQ: yep, and guess what? I think wlroots crashes if the hardware supports moving tools between tablets and someone actually does that
<ifreund> well at least I'm pretty sure there will be memory corruption
<LarstiQ> based on reading the wlroots code?
<LarstiQ> I have one tablet + tool, not enough to test it out
<ifreund> Actually, I might be wrong about the memory corruption but the code is still quite sus

<moonshine> well. i combed through a few weeks of logs, so i'll just ask: any eta for 3.0? my reason for asking: i'd like to use 'riverctl rule-add'
<moonshine> or 0.3 rather

<ifreund> moonshine: you can see the remaining blockers in the 0.3.0 milestone: https://github.com/riverwm/river/milestone/3
<ifreund> #963 just requires a wlroots 0.17.2 release, which I believe is imminent
<ifreund> the main time sync remaining is the tablet support, which I've been working on for several days already
<ifreund> once that's done there's a few other minor issues to resolve and some organizational stuff to take care of (mainly moving the official repo to codeberg)
<ifreund> At a guess, 2-3 weeks
<ifreund> there's no hard deadline though
<moonshine> excellent, thanks for the response
