<novakane>
I thought PR on github were disabled btw
<ifreund>
you can't disable them :/
<novakane>
that sucks :/
<novakane>
thanks for the merge though, got some build failed for rivercarro that took me too long to understand xD
<adamcstephens>
yeah my update script is failing on that too. don't forge to bump the submodule in river :)
<ifreund>
adamcstephens: done,
<ifreund>
not sure what exactly y'all were doing to get build failures doing this tbh, the zig-wlroots submodules aren't needed to build river
<adamcstephens>
in my case it was just downloading the submodules that failed
<ifreund>
huh, i don't think `git submodule update --init` in the river repo should try to download the submodules in the zig-wlroots repo
<ifreund>
but it should be fixed now regardless
<ifreund>
and before too much longer we can delete the submodules in favor of the zig package manager
<adamcstephens>
for nix fetching purposes it must be recursively fetching all the submodules
<adamcstephens>
it's a boolean of fetch submodules or not, so i suspect that's the case

I see using the latest river wlroots has to be 0.17.2 but on arch wlroots 0.17.1-1 is only available. As I'm using river from git is using wlroots from git too acceptable as it'll be 0.18.0 ish ??
<JustineSmithies>
Oh I'm on Arch sorry
<JustineSmithies>
ifreund: Just want to say thank you for submitting that bug to mpv as I could never come up with any of that info. It's very much appreciated.
<ifreund>
JustineSmithies: no problem! hopefully I've given them enough info to make the fix pretty easy for someone familiar with the codebase :)
<ifreund>
river's not compatible with wlroots master, only 0.17.2. You could either wait on an older river commit or revert the commit where I bumped the version to 0.17.2 locally
<ifreund>
maybe the hard dependency on 0.17.2 isn't necessary, it's just my attempt to avoid users hitting crashes that have already been fixed
<ifreund>
Arch should probably have 0.17.2 pretty soon I suppose
<JustineSmithies>
Thanks

Hello! I have 2 questions.
<Guest84>
1. How can i change scale of my monitors and change their relative position?
<Guest84>
2. I feel like my mouse has acceleration, if its true, how can i set it to flat?
<Guest84>
Thank you
<lordmzte>
Guest84: 1. River supports the wlr-output-management-unstable-v1 protocol, this enables external tools to configure monitors, such as wlr-randr. See: https://github.com/riverwm/river/wiki#how-can-i-configure-outputs 2. `riverctl input <input wildcard> accel-profile flat`
