<freemangordon> few more tests remaining (~6)
<DFP> Hello. Just learned about this distribution. Would be curious to hear impressions from anybody who's been running it for a while.
<DFP> I watched a few demonstration videos, and I like it very much based on that.
<DFP> I currently have an 8 year old (currently bricked) Android phone that I might want to install it on at some point.
<freemangordon> Wizzup: ^^^
<Wizzup> it's 1am here, I can respond tomorrow with some impressions :)
<Wizzup> what kind of phone?
<freemangordon> ugh, you are still not in EU? :(
<Wizzup> no :(
<DFP> Model is Alcatel OneTouch Pop C3 4033X.
<DFP> Not supported, I think, but somebody told me I might get away with installing an Android kernel and it could work.
<DFP> Will investigate later.

<Guest224> buZz: my Lapdock 500 also has badly behave keyboard. Yesterday I have hard lesson that it really does not support Mac save mode, but I learned much with Mac about its display actually also support some another than 1366x768, it support NTSC signal in quite many modes example 720p, but not 480p. And small hole in bottom is reset :) Have you tested
<Guest224> its connectors (vga, sdcard reader, ethernet, usb etc) with Droid4 with Leste?
<Guest224> I think the Lapdock 500 vga connector is not just what goes display that goes vga also.

<arno11> uvos: freemangordon: i'm currently looking at N900 overclock stuff: not sure if i'm looking at the correct path. can you confirm it is maemo-leste/n9xx-linux ?
<freemangordon> no
<arno11> *i mean for dts stuff
<arno11> ok
<arno11> ah
<freemangordon> maemo-6.1.y branch
<arno11> ah ok tyvm !
<arno11> perfect, found what i need in omap34xx.dtsi
<arno11> freemangordon: Wizzup: so just to confirm: we add 2 boost freqs ? 720 and 850? are you ok with that? (these 2 freqs with max original voltage are very stable)
<arno11> *i'm asking just to make a PR
<freemangordon> no
<freemangordon> 720 and 800
<freemangordon> 'stable' is device specific
<freemangordon> actually it is 805, not 850
<freemangordon> if you wish you can add 720, 805 and 850
<arno11> ok let's go
<freemangordon> ugh, I meant "actually it is 805, not 800"
<freemangordon> so yeah, 720, 805 and 850
<arno11> ok cool
<arno11> i'll use the same voltage for 720, 805 and 850 if you're ok
<arno11> (it works great)
<freemangordon> WE AR ALREADY @ MAX VOLTAGE, AFAIK
<freemangordon> oops
<freemangordon> sorry for the caps
<arno11> yes i ask because we can undervolt them a bit
<freemangordon> noo
<arno11> but IMO not really usefull
<arno11> so better keep original max voltage
<freemangordon> mhm
<freemangordon> undervolting must be done by SR, if it finally works on omap3
<arno11> i already used it
<freemangordon> but anyway SR cannot work for freq > 600MHz, because there is no calibration data
<arno11> ok so let's go with original voltage, it works fine
<arno11> oh and of course i remove 125MHz freq ?
<arno11> or is there anyone not agree with that lol
<freemangordon> yes, remove it
<arno11> ok cool

<uvos> arno11: please dont modify omap34xx.dtsi
<uvos> arno11: you can just override what you need to change in the n900s dts
<uvos> that way it applies only to n900, if we ever port leste to a855 or so
<freemangordon> anyone here that can help me grok sparql DELETE/INSERT idea?
<arno11> uvos: ah ok, but there is no opp-table in n900 dts file (in droid4-linux)
<freemangordon> arno11: just copy the one from 34xx
<freemangordon> and then modify
<arno11> ah ok
<arno11> ok so iiuc this way it will only apply on n900 with no inpact on other leste port
<arno11> oops didn't see last uvos message :D
<arno11> ok i'll do that

<uvos> i dunno what mafw even is :P
<uvos> arno11: sorry for nack'ing all your patches, if you copy the cpu0_opp_table: opp-table into / { in n900 dts that should work just as well and affect only n900
<uvos> we do this allready for the mapphones, see the mapphone dtsi
