uvos__: so you want the applet to use the key in the ini if it is set?
<Wizzup>
freemangordon: pushed the changes, including uvos' request, although that might turn out to be annoying on the PP
<Wizzup>
rafael2k: this means that if you test you should ensure the ini does not contain the key

Wizzup: there's lithium tabs sticking out of the cell, those are spot welded to tiny tin strips folded over them , when desoldering the BMS -do not- remove those tin strips :D
<buZz>
i did on one side, and now keeps breaking connection on that side -_-
<buZz>
but TLDR; desolder/snip BMS from droid4 donor battery, desolder BMS from LG battery, clean solder points, clean and add fresh leadsolder to both the tin on cell and the copper pads on droid4 BMS , hold the folded tin strips from LG cell on the droid4 BMS, solder em down
<Wizzup>
what is BMS

Wizzup: battery managment system
<uvos>
in this case just a chip that limits voltages to a range
<uvos>
bearly counts as a bms :P
<uvos>
freemangordon: no, and what i did is hardly something you can reccomend others do
<uvos>
since it included milling your own pcb and spotwelding
<uvos>
Wizzup: just comment out the key in the package
<uvos>
i was more worryed about that at some point we might want the volume applet to controll some special fake stream instead of default
<uvos>
like on fremantle

uvos: I wrote the code for the fallback already
<Wizzup>
or rather, it should honour that key already
