<nmdv> joerg: is that something any of us could take a look and perhaps disable/block any of the mechanisms used to spam/dos/bruteforce attack the site. How about setting a lab environment elsewhere, test a few alternatives and present it back for your consideration. I now this has to be very old code for sure but I am willing to put some effort and money if required to keep the site online

<nmdv> completely agree on that, for "new" maemo users like myself is incredibly useful to find everything about maemo still on the same site from a decade plus ago, so I would think that one way to achieve this goal is to shield the old website componets from anything that imply new account creating, changes, obviously no new garage.maemo.org projects, etc. get it to a working state and then who knows perhaps upgrade it midgard2 if that was something that was
