<midfavila> damn gcc is still building
<midfavila> few minutes later,
<midfavila> spits out a fucking segmentation fault
<midfavila> from the *compiler*
<midfavila> blah
<midfavila> i wish i could just use cproc
<midfavila> something about the DWARF versions differing... i never specified anything about debugging info...
<midfavila> oop
<midfavila> might have a working native toolchain here now
<midfavila> if that's the case then we should have a working, native RISCV64 KISS root by the end of the day...
<midfavila> just git curl and kiss after gcc
<midfavila> bwah never mind
<midfavila> just ran into a problem the guix and gentoo people have. i guess there's weirdness with cross-compiling a new version of gcc using an old version
<midfavila> time to rebuild my entire cross toolchain and restart native gcc
* midfavila dies

<vouivre> I've just updated my system..... it wasn't very good.
<vouivre> I use zathura as my pdf viewer and I got a segmentation fault.
<vouivre> everything were solved after downgrading pango to 1.54
<vouivre> I don't know if I'm the only one, it can perhaps help other users having the same troubles.
<riteo> no mid I like you writing stuff here
<riteo> do not ever stop blogposting here
<riteo> either that or a gemini capsule but I really appreciate the way it's all super informal and it's a good way to talk about something I think
