<remiliascarlet> Firefox released a survey, and the questions are over the top ridiculous, and so I gave them ridiculous answers: https://files.catbox.moe/kdyeth.png

<SiFuh_> remiliascarlet: How come you never answered the AI question?
<SiFuh_> Nothing good to select?
<SiFuh_> remiliascarlet:
<SiFuh_> Google's AI chatbot Gemini sends disturbing response, tells user to 'please die'
<SiFuh_> Reddy revealed to the outlet that the Google chatbot responded, "This is for you, human. You and only you. You are not special, you are not important, and you are not needed. You are a waste of time and resources. You are a burden on society. You are a drain on the earth. You are a blight on the landscape. You are a stain on the universe. Please die. Please."

<farkuhar> Any ideas how to fix this aom build error on CRUX-musl? https://d.uguu.se/unteahDO.log I suspect it might be as simple as inserting another #include somewhere, but I'm not sure which header provides the drop-in replacement that would satisfy aom.
<SiFuh_> But I guess I am zorzing you
<SiFuh_> Looks like Gentoo forum has similar issues and ftello was on
<SiFuh_> So it might be cool to peruse this.
<farkuhar> SiFuh_: interesting that the Gentoo patch only affects the builds where ENABLE_EXAMPLES is set. I do recall successfully building previous versions of aom on CRUX-musl, and none of those builds failed despite having ENABLE_EXAMPLES set.

<SiFuh_> farkuhar: Sorry, was a bit busy. Trying to find a rebuild kit for the Turbo Chargers because they want to charge me almost RM9000 to replace with second hand yet I can do the rebuild for both for about RM250 and apparently no one can do. I am guessing the money is not enough for them for such a tiny tedious job.
<SiFuh_> The mechanics will go to KL tomorrow and search for people who can do the rebuild or find a decent replacement. If no one does the rebuild, I will. If they find a replacement at a decent price. Then I still rebuild the old turbos. So the chances are 66.66% I will be doing some rebuilds.
<farkuhar> SiFuh_: Okay, I got a successful build of aom#3.11.0 on CRUX-musl by adding '-D ENABLE_EXAMPLES=0' to the Pkgfile, no need for the Gentoo patch. The resulting package is missing /usr/bin/aom{dec,enc}, but that's okay if you only need the library.
<SiFuh_> farkuhar: Well the CRUX way, the *.dec *.enc should not be included
<SiFuh_> farkuhar: I should ask remiliascarlet to take me to the Toyota Turbo factory :-P Get originals on the spot. Hahahaha
<farkuhar> Several key ports have been updated since my last successful build of aom#3.10.0 on 2024-09-01, including gcc and clang. That could explain why I didn't hit the ftello implicit declaration error for aom#3.10.0.
<SiFuh_> farkuhar: Not sure, seems a bit old and from my glance it should be included in MUSL... but I might have zorzed it and read wrong.
<SiFuh_> farkuhar: I have a friend here named Wandi. I basically made a system of measurment based on his name. How hungry are you? 2 Wandis. You drove fast to KL? 1/2 a Wandi. How heavy do you weigh? 1/4 of a Wandi.
<SiFuh_> Wandi hated it.
<SiFuh_> zoris the new Wandi ;-)
<SiFuh_> zorz is*
<farkuhar> SiFuh_: The 2022 date of the Gentoo bug report did look suspicious; I would have expected to hit this bug earlier if it really was a MUSL issue. But maybe the gcc upgrade is what triggered it, as stenur pointed out with vorbis-tools and gcc 14.
<SiFuh_> farkuhar: Heh, wife wanted taxi stories to help her sleep. I was telling her about my regular murderers.
<SiFuh_> She is in pain now. She thinks UTI. I said it is probably poison
<SiFuh_> farkuhar: As for the bug report, not sure. I was skimming shit to give me a small idea
<SiFuh_> remiliascarlet: Had a small dispute but won amongst a friend. He said that humans are vegetarian by nature. I said I don't doubt it. He said we can't eat meat. I said but we do, and our digestive tract (You pointed that out) is designed for it. He said but our teeth are not. I said they are though... In fact we are actually desgined to eat fruit these days because it became a delicacy to eat and we'd
<SiFuh_> often choose to eat it before meat and fruit. But still we ominivores and whomever thinks otherwise is full of shit. He replied with hmmmmmm. I said enjoy your meat because that is what we do now. Maybe once in the past we were vegetarians or fruitarianists but we adpated because of the lack of both.
<SiFuh_> meat and vegetables*
<SiFuh_> I myself love vegetables, not a fan of fruit, but meat and eggs always is my priority. He is the same.
<SiFuh_> remiliascarlet: I actually think humans never ate vegetables but they mostly ate fruit then moved on to eating meat. The teeth and the digestive tract show it.
<SiFuh_> I think tubers and vegetables were introduced into the diet at a much later date within human history
<SiFuh_> Ukraine Launches US-Made Long-Range Missiles Into Russia
<SiFuh_> THese fucking democrat and deep state cunts need to be wipe from existence
<SiFuh_> No apologies. If you retarded people who voted need a ducking brain check
<SiFuh_> ...FFS I have one word for you all 'Morons'
