<terrorpup> So, now I have a new Elite, super excited
<DC-IRC>
<terrorpup> I got a couple of their new genbasic usb, their old ones are great
<DC-IRC>
<terrorpup> Yes, the old one only does 2.4Ghz, but I only bought them because there $5 a piece work great with Armbian and mose other distro with no additional firmware.
<DC-IRC>
<terrorpup> So, again yes 2.4 Ghz/5 Ghz and Blue Tooth
<DC-IRC>
<lanefu> yeah thats hard to beat.. working and $5
<DC-IRC>
<Tonymac32> Use a 12V DC dumb supply with a barrel to type C adapter
<DC-IRC>
<Tonymac32> I run mine on PoE
<DC-IRC>
<terrorpup> I got the official 30W USB Power Supply so I should be good
<DC-IRC>
<terrorpup> My Sweet Potato Pi was supposed to have come with POE hat, but they will not be release until next month

<tenkawa42> Nextcloud works fine on Debian 12
<DC-IRC>
<shivasiddharth> yeah but not nextcloudpi
<DC-IRC>
<shivasiddharth> look at the webiste
<DC-IRC>
<tenkawa42> juri_: all the source is available... its the "upstream choices" decision to use it or not
<DC-IRC>
<tenkawa42> If Ubuntu/Debian/Arch don't want to implement it in their distro, that's their choice.. not NextCloud's
<DC-IRC>
<shivasiddharth> kk
<DC-IRC>
<shivasiddharth> im just elling
<DC-IRC>
<shivasiddharth> telling
<juri_>
tenkawa42: i do not agree, and pretty strongly. you have to work with upstreams if you want to make everything better. or, you can dump code, and say "good luck".
<DC-IRC>
<tenkawa42> juri_: no its called making a choice.
<juri_>
if you're reproducing the packages that are in the OS already (say, installing your own PHP), then you are not working WITH upstream, you're working along side, and making security worse.
<DC-IRC>
<shivasiddharth> the documentation says the first boot will give u an activation username and pass
<DC-IRC>
<shivasiddharth> but i went straight to this screen
<juri_>
yes, we all make choices. and you're making the choice to say you work with someone, when clearly, you're dumping problems on the end user.
<juri_>
.. this is besides the point, for this user tho.

<shivasiddharth> sooo il install a fresh copy and try again
<juri_>
wait.
<juri_>
first, read the docs a bit more, to see if there is a default user / password.
<DC-IRC>
<tenkawa42> This is what he should be using....
