how come poky has 5.15.72 kernel for generic x86-64 but 5.15.124 for qemu ? I thought those would use the same kernel version
<Xogium>

also I'm a bit confused, which image should I take in 'wic list images' if I want to make a disk image that would boot on both uefi and bios ?
<Xogium>
for x86_64
<Xogium>
hmm I tried to use genericx86 and tried to boot that in qemu, it stopped at booting from hard disk. Reason why I use qemu for that generic image is because I wanted to make sure it could boot without a problem first, before ever trying it on my real hardware
<Xogium>
I'm blind, so directly booting that without being sure it can run fine first would be a bit on the not so cool side of things, since I wouldn't see if there's an issue with the bootloader, or kernel doing a panic, or some other thing
