<TheAnachron> I am getting a linux tablet soon and I want to use it as a 2nd external display using wayvnc. I found this issue: https://codeberg.org/river/river/issues/878 but I am not sure what is needed to get it running? The 2nd comment shows the command on the remote device side, right? I just need to connect to it via wayvnc then?

<fiftysix> is there any way to see the active window (or the actual purpose - disable a keybind when a certain app is focused)?

<tiosgz> TheAnachron: that's how you tell river to start with headless outputs in addition to normal ones IIUC, so the command should be on your computer's side
<tiosgz> gera: nope, unfortunately not
<tiosgz> fiftysix: i think what you want might be possible with lswt's --watch mode and river's keybind modes (but if you want all but one shortcut to work, you'll need to define them all in both the normal and the app-specific mode)
<fiftysix> sick ty
