<rneese>
so it looks to be a desktop board
<rneese>
4 cores is underpowered for a server nowdays
<leah2>
it's a dev board
<leah2>
i dont really understand the rationale why this board would be a lot more expensive than the unmatched tho

<rneese>
dual m.2 and dual pci-e drive it up
<rneese>
but I agree
<rneese>
the project around 1000$ is way to high even 600 is to high if you want to get these into the hands of devs
<rneese>
most devs I know cannot afford the high prices

<rneese>
I need to focus on 1 side of our builder to get the v2 working right . my pref is debian . but I want input
<rneese>

BootLayer has quit [Quit: Leaving]
<rneese>
personally I think boards should go chip-on-module mode and make it so that as new chips come out they can upgrade with otu having to but all new hardware
<rneese>
chip-on-module makes more sense
<rneese>
and more cost productive imho
<rneese>
sorry bad typing . cat on kbd
<rneese>
i ment c-o-m make sit so you would not have to buy new motherboard all the time
