<vagrantc> i guess they'll just have to resend those requests and interrupt whatever you're doing
<khem> palmer: you can unarchive in patchwork UI or using git-pw
<khem> e.g. git-pw patch update --archived 'No' 13843
<palmer> khem: ah, thanks, for some reason I couldn't find the UI bits
<khem> git-pw is quite handy to interact with patchwort
<palmer> thanks, I'll try it out
<palmer> I've just started using b4, which is pretty great
<khem> archived patches are not shown in default UI
<palmer> yep, and for some reason I couldn't find it when I un-clicked the archive button. I think it must have just been too big and messing with the search or something
<palmer> from looking at git-pw, I think b4 does all that?
raym has quit [Ping timeout: 268 seconds]
<palmer> ya, I've fixed it ;)
<khem> click on "show patches with"
<khem> cool. I deal with lore and patchwork for OE so have some workflows
<khem> sorted
<palmer> ah, cool
<palmer> I just started using b4 this afternoon, and Conor got patchwork cleaned up a few days ago
<palmer> it seems pretty good so far, but I still need some way to clean up my local inbox when things change in patchwork
<khem> although pull requests are best 🙂
<palmer> ya man, the best way to get work done is to trick someone else into doing it ;)
<khem> yeah b4 is cool

<khem> sometimes sender email systems are messed up and the patches arrive with email addresses rewritten which is hard to deal with, I have to manually git commit --amend --author and request senders to fix their outgoing mail settings
<palmer> ya, email is a mess
<khem> this is script I use for working with lore http://sprunge.us/1g6QfD
<palmer> I think "b4 shazam" does that now?
<khem> yes
<palmer> here's what I've got now, though it's very much a WIP: https://github.com/palmer-dabbelt/home/blob/master/.local/src/git-mhb4.bash
<khem> looks good
<palmer> IDK, I think it's kind of a mess ;)

<muurkha> I thought that was surprising, so I just did a git pull in a repo from the remote git@github.com:darius/peglet.git
<muurkha> it worked
<muurkha> isn't that the git protocol?

<mmind00> palmer: cool thanks a lot ... I've been looking at the git.kernel.org code in the meantime :-)
<palmer> ya, I figured. it's the same, just squashed and such
<conchuod> btw Palmer, can you use the mchp email for reported bys etc?
<palmer> ya, sure
<conchuod> Not worth retroactively doing anything, but they do care about that sort of thing
<palmer> makes sense
<conchuod> they being management people
<palmer> I use my rivos mail for the same reason
<palmer> do you want me to send mail there too, or just tags?
<conchuod> nah just tags is grand.
<palmer> OK, I'll try and remember
<conchuod> between lei and filters I pick up anything that goes to a "conor"
<palmer> ya, that's what I do too -- luckily there's less "palmer" out there ;)
<conchuod> There are a whole load of Conors, but there's only one other that seems even slightly active on lore (and one spelt Connor)
<khem> Yeah git://github.com links should be replaced with https://github.com
<khem> Lgtm
<conchuod> Conversions all LGTM, one link is dead

<conchuod> Aye, and I think for a lot of them having a git tree is pointless - like the sifive one
<khem> yeah some repos have renamed public branches and thats another pain in neck to deal with
<conchuod> GitHub has an archive feature, idk why people delete repos rather than do that.
