Wizzup: so the registers seam the same unfotionatly
<uvos>
so cpacp is fully correctly setup for audio
<uvos>
there is a difference in 7d0c thats kinda strange
<uvos>
but this isent in one of the audio related register spaces
<uvos>
but we dont know what that dose as its not mentioned in the stock kernel or the datasheet and as far as i can tell its allways been the same
<uvos>
but yours is different
<uvos>
maybe its bootup mode or something usefull like that
<uvos>
anyhow its not related
<uvos>
so since its not cpcap the modem must be misconfigured
<uvos>
these are after all the only two chips involved in call audio on d4

uvos: ok, not sure how to continue other than perhaps try to bisect, which is not easy since we still carry a bunch of patches
<uvos>
good question.
<uvos>
since only tmlind ever did anything on the modem side it woudl be helpfull if we could get a hold of him to give us an overview what the kernel has to do to enable voice
<uvos>
i presume its not alot
<uvos>
bisecting is essantly impossible
<uvos>
since the out of tree patches are heavly involved
<Wizzup>
maybe we should just send an email

Wizzup: i tried to add boost stuff in cssufeatures and it works as well (but it means cpufrequtils dep)
<arno11>
(able to load a kind of profile with boost on + max freq + min freq with just one button
<Wizzup>
you'd have to detect whether you're on n900 or not though I guess
<Wizzup>
freemangordon: so we have 6.6 in experimental with cpufreq issues fixed and it looks good, but calls give no audio somehow, even though cpcap regs for audio seem ok
<arno11>
Wizzup: yes indeed
<Wizzup>
freemangordon: other than that we've working on some leste-config changes for n900 to make it faster, figured out what part of tracker causes slowness for n900 (HOME monitoring)
<Wizzup>
freemangordon: we didn't get the n900 IR stuff in the n900 yet, but that would be nice to have
<Wizzup>
arno11: we should maybe add some /etc/leste-device to leste-config-* or so
<Wizzup>
freemangordon: we picked your recent patches but it had some compile issue
<Wizzup>
freemangordon: and I got the mz617 to work nicely, and am kind of able to produce images for it
<arno11>
Wizzup: ah yes good idea
<Wizzup>
freemangordon: oh and I fixed the syncevolution bug and ported cssufeatures to python3
