if you boot android 2.3 you get old ubuntu (based) linux

if you boot android 4+ you get the tablet interface

unfortionatly letste absolutly breaks linux usual session managment with fairly terrible hackery

you have to disable the leste stuff (the xsession scripts, and some other stuff (af services dbus and gconf hackery))

then you can run a wm via xsession or a xdg-session via some session manager (tinydm works well)

the atrix lapdock has a mold that fits just around the atrix and fixed connectors (that are also the wrong way around for every other motoroala phone that was compatbil with lapdocks, mapphone or otherwise)
