<Guest59> r0ni how was the installation process for you
<Guest59> im planning to either do a kiss linux or crux installation on a 2015 macbook and i wanted to see if your peripherals worked
<jaeger> The last time I did that was on a 2015 macbook pro. I don't recall having any issues with it... but I don't recall now if I tested every feature 100% like screen brightness, etc.
<jaeger> But installation worked fine, graphics, wifi worked
<Guest59> ok because i found the wifi driver and found that it was part of the kernel, but was a little unsure of the keyboard and touchpad because apple
<jaeger> I remember keyboard and touchpad both working, but I don't recall messing with or really caring about the input gestures or acceleration because I mostly used it with an external keyboard and display
<jaeger> These days I would imagine you can get pretty good touchpad settings/gestures with libinput, though
<Guest59> i mean i don't use input gestures or acceleration, and saw a kiss repo with libinput, so honestly that would be my backup plan
<Guest59> did you use any fan control like mbpfan, might use it to keep temps low
<jaeger> Probably fine, then

<jaeger> I vaguely remember the name mbpfan so probably used it at some point

<Guest59> yeah i saw a crux port to mbpfan but when i saw it, there was no package
<Guest59> mainly just going to use mbpfan for compilation
