<SiFuh> Heh, ppetrov^: Can now ask if 3.8 is out already now.

<jaeger> pfft :P
<SiFuh> ls
<ocb> congrats on the release :)
<maledictium> this one already includes systemd?
<SiFuh> Hahaha
<cruxbot> [opt.git/3.7]: xterm: 372 -> 373
<maledictium> :D
<fishe> trying to run sysup, vte3 needs LTO enabled in the kernel to compile but every time i change the `.config`to enable it, i get "`.config:692:warning: override: LTO_CLANG_FULL changes choice state`"
<SiFuh> Compiling with clang?
<fishe> im not sure
<SiFuh> Also is this 3.6 or 3.7?
<fishe> error happens at `vte-0.70.0/meson.build:445:0:` so im assuming 0.70?
<SiFuh> No I meant CRUX version 3.6 or 3.7
<fishe> oh, how do i check that?
<SiFuh> type the command 'crux'
<fishe> oh lol
<fishe> it's 3.6
<SiFuh> What kernel version?
<fishe> 5.19.11
<SiFuh> I do not have a 5.19.X but I do have a 5.18.16
<SiFuh> And I have these enabled https://dpaste.com/2UQ6CHZDR.txt
<fishe> running menuconfig with `CONFIG_LTO_CLANG` instead of `CONFIG_LTO_CLANG_FULL` didn't give me the error but when running make on it, it still took it out of the config
<fishe> i had all of those except waltop so i'll try with that enabled
<SiFuh> Not I grepped LTO
<fishe> oh
<SiFuh> And WALTOP came up because it has LTO in it
<fishe> and vte3 builds for you?
<SiFuh> Updating those ports and will try.
<fishe> alright
<SiFuh> Nope
<SiFuh> vte-0.70.0/meson.build:445:0: ERROR: Assert failed: LTO not supported
<fishe> same error i got
<SiFuh> It builds fine if I remove the line '-D b_lto=true \' in the Pkgfile
<SiFuh> I wonder what reason it was enabled for
<fishe> removed it and it built for me too
<SiFuh> Arch linux has it disbaled
<SiFuh> Will have to query Romster about it
<SiFuh> fishe: by the way CRUX 3.7 was released today
<fishe> ye i checked the crux site a few minutes ago and saw it
<fishe> i gotta get some work done, then ill update
<SiFuh> I will probably upgrade in a week or 2. Not priority for me at the moment
<fishe> fair

<fishe> flameshot doesn't work with 3.7 and i can't figureo out why, i may need some help lol
<fishe> pkgbuild log shows that it's missing .so files for libcrypto and openssl, both of which are provided by openssl and openssl1
<fishe> i've got both installed so im not really sure what's up lol
