<brian|lfs> odd I discovered who does nothing for me and delting the fodler and reinstalling filesystem didn't resovle it
<ahmadraniri[m]> <jaeger> "ahmadraniri: glad you got it..." <- apparently, it's not solved yet, I thought when I perform `prt-get sysup` it will be solved but it's not. still investigate it though. I will post the log soon.

<brian|lfs> ah who works after a reboot
<ahmadraniri[m]> apparently, there is a mismatch between ffmpeg5 and wlroots 0.15.1, I build wlroots (master / 0.16) and it's fine.

<farkuhar> brian|lfs: your harfbuzz-32 failure looks like another example of 'eager linking'. You passed meson the argument '-D icu=disabled' but meson ignored it and tried linking anyway. Since libicuuc.so was installed by icu (not icu-32), it was the wrong format for harfbuzz-32. See line 590 of your build log.

<Guest81> Is there any command letting me download all the ports at once in /usr/ports ?
<jaeger> cd /usr/ports; pkgmk -do -r
<SiFuh_> jaeger: ports -u :-P Hahaha
<jaeger> I assumed the question was for sources because "all the ports at once in /usr/ports" implies the ports are already there
<Guest81> I want a local copy of thé whole ports please
<SiFuh_> I guessed the request was for the archives only, but it seemed to be ports and not archives.
<jaeger> of the ports or the source tarballs to which they refer?
<Guest81> I have only compat-32, contrib, core, opt, xorg. I want to install rust-bin since the compilation of rust turned in failure
<SiFuh_> If it is the ports Guest81 wants. I have a script in crontab that does this. But you need all the *.httpup *.rsync files
<jaeger> Those are all of the official repositories
<Guest81> Yes that is
<SiFuh_> Is rust-bin back?
<jaeger> rust-bin is gone from the official ones, might be one in the portdb somewhere
<Guest81> I think i've deleted /usr/ports like this: rmdir /usr/ports
Guest81 has quit [Quit: Client closed]
<jaeger> Looks like the mikejsavage repo has a 1.1.0 version, that seems pretty old
<SiFuh_> Yeah
<SiFuh_> I have that two
<SiFuh_> too*
Guest81 has joined #crux
<SiFuh_> I've never used rust-bin. Guest81 what is the problem with the rust build?
<jaeger> Guest81: you can recreate it and the run 'ports -u' as SiFuh_ mentioned to download ports
<Guest81> I've deleted my /usr/ports and then ln-s /home/pkgmk/ports /usr/ports
brian|lfs has quit [Remote host closed the connection]
<SiFuh_> Guest81: and is your /home/pkmkg/ports/ populated?
<Guest81> Rust failed to compile for me after a long time
<SiFuh_> Using a paste bin site, are you able to send us a URL to your build error? /var/log/pkgbuild/rust.log or something if it exists
<Guest81> SiFuh: just added some paths in /etc/pkgmk.conf
<SiFuh_> Guest81: I have /usr/ports in an external drive. Didn't need to add any paths
<SiFuh_> So have you any ports located under /home/pkgmk/ports/ ?
<jaeger> I have a couple of compiled rust packages at https://crux.ninja/tmp/ if you want to try one of them
<Guest81> It is just to définie /home/pkgmk/{....} where i compile ports
<Guest81> jaeger: thank you very much for this
<SiFuh_> Okay
<jaeger> You can do that without moving /usr/ports, for what that's worth. PKGMK_WORK_DIR in pkgmk.conf
<jaeger> np
<SiFuh_> Also he ln -s it
<jaeger> For example, I use /usr/ports/{work,src,pkg} as working directory, source, and package destination
<jaeger> But the ports trees are unmodified otherwise
<Guest81> So is the Iso media contrains a copy of ports i can use ?
<SiFuh_> Mine is /dev/sdc1 as /usr/ports, /usr/ports/work is on a tmpfs in RAM and distfiles and packages are under /usr/ports/ on sdc1
<jaeger> The ISO contains only the compiled packages, you get the ports as SiFuh_ mentioned by running 'ports -u'
<jaeger> You might want to read through the handbook on the website, lots of useful information there including ports
