farkuhar: Not sure how what format Odysee displays. But I upload .mp4 compressed x264 and AAC audio. The reason I wanted to use Odysee as well. If you click on the three little buttons on the right just below the video. You can download the videos as well to play them locally if desired.
<mnkydeth>
Doesn't fix the firefox not displaying. But can give other options for other video players.

seatd has a footprint mismatch. Looks like the /usr/share/man stuff isn't getting removed.
<mnkydeth>
Or it's new and was't there before.
<mnkydeth>
swaybg same thing. Easy fixes on the user end. Just figured I would point it out if people are not using ignoring the footprint.
<mnkydeth>
Well, I am building sway and wayland from a fresh install. I did a core only install with a little of opt to make things easy. But, since I don't have all of xorg installed from the get go. I wonder if that is effecting the .footprint

As libxkbcommon also has a mismatch on the footprint.
<mnkydeth>
Yeah, I'm thinking I am getting the footprint mispatch's from the way I built from the start. As gtk3 for the xorg setup most likely is correct. But mismatch with wayland.

mnkydeth: NEW?
<farkuhar>
mnkydeth: is it just NEW files in your footprint mismatches, nothing MISSING? That's the expected behaviour if the optional dependency scdoc is detected during meson setup. Man-pages do not get built on a clean system, which is what the maintainers use when generating the footprint.
<mnkydeth>
correct, just new
<mnkydeth>
I was thinking I could test the build up to wayland and sway. Everything went good. Only 4-5 compiles had mismatches. All new, no missing.
<mnkydeth>
Can't type up a start.sh file yet. Will do that later tonight.
<SiFuh>
You should not be complaing about what is NEW
<SiFuh>
You can edit your config file to set it to ignore new
<mnkydeth>
oh yeah I did
<SiFuh>
As farkuhar said above you need to only be concerned with MISSING
<mnkydeth>
It's why I corected myself. After realizing it's because I didn't have xorg. And it's most specifically because I went to a wayland setup.
<SiFuh>
mnkydeth: I did attempt wayland but that was before I was notified that I have to rebuild some stuff :-P
<mnkydeth>
I tried it a week or so ago. I was able to get a screen up. But no usable bar, menu or terminal. None of the hotkeys or anything worked. I assumed it was an issue with my config or startup file.
<mnkydeth>
But, I'm trying to be more methodical this time around.
<SiFuh>
Which reminds me. My CRUX machine might be dead soon anyway. I am not going to buy anymore replacement parts. The screen is now showing a nice white square light pattern around the centre. It gets brighter sometimes and darker or gone other days.

mnkydeth: one thing I noticed recently is that sway doesn't let you do much of anything if you don't have some fonts installed... but if you're using something else, not sure
