frinnst: qemu-man-7.1.0.tar.xz can be found in the ports tree, /usr/ports/opt/qemu-all, but not in /usr/ports/opt/qemu. Both directories had a copy of the man-page tarball before the latest version bump, but now only qemu-all has it.

Hi guys, how can i create a public key for my ports?
<SiFuh>
HAHAHAHA, the neighbour that always complains about everyone being noisy is outside washing the car again for the 3rd time today. Using a high pressure water jet at 21:42 on a Sunday night.

SiFuh: i thought you live in the forest

ocb: Jungle
<SiFuh>
It's a jungle town with jungle villages
<SiFuh>
Although the state has been constantly cutting the jungles down for no other reason than to sell the wood

Hi guys, how can I install a specific port if there is another port with the same name? Example, opt/openbox and personal/openbox
<farkuhar>
z0un: you can run (as root) pkgmk -i after changing directory to the port you want to install. Or you can edit /etc/prt-get.conf and place nearer the top the collection from which you want to install openbox.
<joacim>
pkgmk/pkgadd, or change the order of the prtdirs in prt-get.confg
<z0un>
Oh thx
<SiFuh>
z0un: Or you can specify directly by editing /etc/prt-get.conf and puting a line like 'prtdir /usr/ports/yenjie:feh, dracut' near the top and that way it is only the ports.
<SiFuh>
So in this case feh and dracut port is priority in the yenjie repo but yenjie repo is not the priority

jason123onirc, SiFuh, I ran side-by-side diffs on the two verbose log files and pasted http://dpaste.com/696ABUXG7 and it's unclear to me what it tells us.
<dlcusa>
I guess jason's session stalled awaiting the ICE completion as SiFuh said but it's not clear why. Any objection to posting this on #xfce for possible response?
<dlcusa>
jason123onirc, SiFuh, ^
<SiFuh>
dlcusa: I also built a system in Virtualbox using jason123onirc's recommended of your's build and I also have not been able to get a functioning desktop and the errors are identical.
<SiFuh>
Actually, I have been waiting for you to return because I do have some small issues I would like to bring to your attention
<SiFuh>
libxfce4util should have these deps xfce4-dev-tools, intltool, gobject-introspection. I had to install all three manually because they were not called for
<SiFuh>
xfce4-dev-tools will fail its pre install script because it requires itself to be built because the script calls upon itself.
<SiFuh>
thunar requires the dependency desktop-file-utils

<SiFuh>
I built the XFCE ports on a strictly core system. So everything else needed to be pulled to complete.
<SiFuh>
Also, I can't figure out why your public key doesn't work anymore.
<SiFuh>
Anyway, dlcusa. I played around with the XFCE session in virtualbox and I tried through startx, xdm, slim and not one was able to load the system. I tried with vbox video driver and fbdev driver and so forth. I also used the default xinitrc that is provided and tried multiple mods. dbus system, dbus local user, console kit and it still screams about not being able to access the settings server.
<dlcusa>
SiFuh, you mean the key for the package signification?
<SiFuh>
Yes that one
<SiFuh>
I remember having a problem before but the previous ports and somehow worked out to be my fault. I think the key changed and I was using an older key. But this time I checked and checked and yeah, something changed. You key isn't working on any of my machines, even the machine that it was working on no longer works.
<SiFuh>
You have a 365 day limit or something?
<SiFuh>
I won't have time for a few days, but when my work is done, I can try running the exact same jason123onirc install on actual hardware and not in a Virtual Machine.
<dlcusa>
I think the solution is to rebuild the ports with new keys at this point. I'm having a very hard time making time for CRUX, unfortunately, and may have to just give up trying. I'll let you know if it looks like I can continue as soon as I know.
<SiFuh>
dlcusa: to be honest, I think your key might have a 1 year time limit.
<SiFuh>
And it may have expired already
<SiFuh>
You won't have to rebuild any ports, just make a new key and signify every port
<dlcusa>
I am needed elsewhere again. Sigh...
<SiFuh>
We could always create duplicate repos with duplicate keys of xfce although xfce isn't my thing. If that would help. 100% is still your operation
<SiFuh>
But I woun't be available until maybe thursday
