ukky: After further testing, I don't think my SIP client was failing to send VOIP registration packets. The incoming calls simply never had a chance to reach the switchboard (where an interactive dialog would prompt them for their party's extension), because that line's capacity for incoming calls is often maxed out. I should either upgrade my subscription to allow Direct Inward Dialing, or switch to a different service.
<zorz>
farkuhar: install windows :P

Fuck you zorzy!

SiFuh: Already upgraded the 7.5 machines to 7.6, and snapshotted laptops got upgraded too (I had to manually download bsd.rd though). In both cases, really easy.
<remiliascarlet>
But admittedly, going from -CURRENT to -RELEASE is only slightly more hands on, but only minimally.
<zorz>
where is my ban ?
<remiliascarlet>
In your ass, manbitch.
<zorz>
poor lavaball
<remiliascarlet>
zorz: OpenBSD was never about speed. Sure, it's minimal, lightweight, and extremely secure, but they never cared about speed.
<zorz>
remiliascarlet: security depends on the admin... kisslinux is secure as openbsd maybe more.
<SiFuh>
Going from current to release is easy. Just do a sysupgrade when the release arrives. It will pretty much be automatic.
<SiFuh>
What was funny is that whenever I installed OpenBSD on it. It would crash to kernel ddb within the day of the installation but then it would never crash again.
<SiFuh>
remiliascarlet: Did you read the words after Wi-Fi?
<remiliascarlet>
Yes?
<remiliascarlet>
The good old early 2000! Back when you could still say whatever you wanted without getting cancelled over it.

Reminds me of the news story back in Early 2k when a guy realised he had burned his penis using a laptop.
