<zeewark1> hi. I had an issue while building armbian within a docker: Failed to fetch http:/deb.debian.org/debian/ ... zip_3.0-11+b1_arm64.deb could not resolf 'deb.debian.org'
<zeewark1> which is easly to approach from my host system, so there seems to be an issue from within the docker env only?
<zeewark1> I evoked it with: sudo ./compile.sh docker EXPERT="yes" BOARD="rockpro64" KERNEL_CONFIGURE="no" BRANCH=edge BUILD_KSRC=no FORCE_CHECKOUT=no MAINLINE_MIRROR=google WIREGUARD="no" BUILD_DESKTOP=no BUILD_MINIMAL=no KERNEL_ONLY=no RELEASE=buster

<Armbian-Discord> <IgorPec> zeewark1 looks like debian repository / network problem
<ArmbianHelper> ^ Doesn't work anymore · Issue #4385 · armbian/build · GitHub
<zeewark1> I think I fixed it by writing some DNS info to docker/daemon.json. I just test it
<zeewark1> test.append('ing')
<Armbian-Discord> <IgorPec> ok, in any case its not a problem of our system
<Armbian-Discord> <IgorPec> we have many tests and if something this basic fails, we would have red lights all over 😉
<zeewark1> this irc client runs on Arch but I have a Debian system as well and I just checked apt update, and this works however

<Armbian-Discord> <Jason123> Where can I find the kernel sources for meson 64?
<Armbian-Discord> <Jason123> or just the armbian meson64 kernel with the patches
<Armbian-Discord> <ManoftheSea> the kernel sources are just the main linux repo. The patches are in the patch directory. Or do you mean the legacy kernel?

<Armbian-Discord> <ManoftheSea> So... you would want to download the armbian builder, then follow the directions to build an image of interest. You'll end up with the linux repository in your caches directory. This is patched with the board-specific patch sequence on each build.

<beanbag-> there's no push to phase out 32 bit arm support is there?
<Armbian-Discord> <dgkebler> just trying out compiling for the first time (using docker). The container has issues installing some ppa's. Wondering if it is related to the key issues in jammy. I actually wrote my own bash script for jammy to replace apt-add-repository and apt-key.
<Armbian-Discord> <dgkebler> ```
<Armbian-Discord> <dgkebler> ./compile.sh docker-shell RELEASE=jammy BOARD=rockpro64 BRANCH=edge

<beanbag-> holy canucking flood batman
<Armbian-Discord> <IgorPec> beanbag- no, but we are getting more and more problems
<Armbian-Discord> <IgorPec> more precise - there are some problems which could be related to less maintenance in 32b segments. most fancy desktops are already gone
<Armbian-Discord> <IgorPec> those ppas has nothing to do with armbian
<lyri> Hello ! Is there a possibility to run a lcd panel (320x240 pixels touch panel not relevant) via spi with a bananapi m2 zero with H3 Processor with the latest armbian version? I found a lot info in the forums, but i guess theses tuts only work with very old images that i cant download anymore. Is there a solution?
<Armbian-Discord> <IgorPec> i can say its possible. if you seek for plug and play solution? not possible. If you seek for someone to do the home work instead of you. not possible ... 😉 dig in into available info and try. others would also need to do the same
<Armbian-Discord> <IgorPec> if you want seek old images (but i don't recommend you that path), they are at archive.armbian.com
<beanbag-> thx for the info
<beanbag-> I just want to know if my orange PI lite will keep running for a few yrs with a up to date os :P
<lyri> will try to do the homework myself ^^

<Armbian-Discord> <dgkebler> true, in host/basic-deps.sh the host system packages are updated and I had some bad files in my sources.list.d. so that explains it. thx.
<Armbian-Discord> <dgkebler> maybe this display_alert "Installing basic packages" "$install_pack" should say "updating and installing basic packages on host"
<Armbian-Discord> <IgorPec> dgkebler make a PR , we'll merge

<Armbian-Discord> <Jason123> so once I build an image the patches will be in a folder?
<Armbian-Discord> <ManoftheSea> no, the patches are in a folder as part of the armbian repo.
