<bluecrash> is a working armbian up for ras pi 3 yet?
<archetech>
we dont do rpi
<clever>
archetech: why not?
<TRS-80>
clever: That has been discussed ad nauseum on the forums since years. More recently, I thought we were supporting RPi. But I have been away for some months, so maybe not any more?
<clever>
TRS-80: is the problem the blobs, or the lack of docs?

<acj> I have a bit of a networking issue...
<Armbian-Discord>
<acj> I'm running a trunk version of Armbian from Nov 4 on a Pine64 Quartz64 sbc. The network adapter is visible (ifconfig) , but when trying to assign an IP address, dhclient just hangs. I can assign a static address to the interface, but there is no connectivity. e..g. ping'ing the gateway returns Destination Host Unreachable. I've done the simple things - network functions just fine with a RockPro64 - so, I know there is
<Armbian-Discord>
connectivity through the switch I'm using. I've run ip route and ip addr show dev eth0 and their respective outputs look normal.
<Armbian-Discord>
<ManoftheSea> what about ip link? Is it showing "up"?
<Armbian-Discord>
<ManoftheSea> You could also watch a tcpdump of the interface as you run dhclient. It may not be hanging, it may just not be getting a response.
<TRS-80>
acj: Is that even supposed to be working yet (it's pretty new)?
<Armbian-Discord>
<Tonymac32> There have been a few runs at that
<Armbian-Discord>
<Tonymac32> cool to see something working, it would be nice to see an open firmware and an adequately engineered board
<Armbian-Discord>
<acj> Ooooo! Thanks, I will check it out.
<Armbian-Discord>
<acj> yes it should work. slapping a USB WiFi dongle into it and it can successfully connect to the internet; download update packages and all that.
<Armbian-Discord>
<acj> here's tcpdump's output while running tcpdump -i eth0
