<_whitenotifier-8> [scopehal] dannas synchronize pull request #529: WIP Siglent SDS1104X-E support - https://git.io/JyCbx
<d1b2> <dannas> I previously had to run my python pyvisa script prior to the invocation fo glscopeclient for my SDS1104X-E. Found the reason: I wasn't calling the CHDR scpi command for specifying the format correctly. Now that small bug is fixed. I also noticed that the long-form of CHDR, (COMM_HEADER) is not accepted by the scope. For all other commands I've tried, the long format-SCPI commandnames has worked just fine.
<d1b2> <dannas> So I guess that's another minor inconsistency in the Siglent SCPI implementation.
<azonenberg> Can you make a list of all of these issues and send to me? I'll forward on to our contacts at Siglent
<d1b2> <dannas> @azonenberg I've have some notes. Will post them to you once I'm done with the driver.
<d1b2> <dannas> Heh, if I ever get done. Oh well, hopefully I can squeeze in an hour tomorrow evening.
