azonenberg, yeah, we've run into that very thing (mismatched allocators in a 3rd party library) before
<azonenberg>
D1605 probe I ordered came in. Has a weird flatness artifact on the low freq range when probing my fast edge test so i guess it's a good thing I'm sending it back for cal
<azonenberg>
more interestingly, it has a feature that lets you read the *common* mode of the differential signal
<azonenberg>
this is a one-time measurement not a live waveform like the... was it tek or keysight? multi-mode probes
<azonenberg>
so you just get an average
<azonenberg>

I just get empty responses. I'm starting scopehal with ./src/glscopeclient/glscopeclient myscope:siglent:usbtmc:/dev/usbtmc3 --debug --trace SiglentSCPIOscilloscope, figuring the internals of scopehal would select the transport etc ... did I miss
