12:54 <RZ_MJ[m]> Yes, the tiling is very different. Tiling in bspwm is similar to sway and i3. There are large differences between those and bspwm, but from a river users perspective, they are similar by having a tree of containers aka nodes.

12:54 <RZ_MJ[m]> Tiling in river is more similar to awesomewm, dwm etc. where the layout is predefined for all windows. The windows are arranged by their position in a list, not by their position in a tree.
