Looking at the first comment, it says something about how the performance comparison was done on a per-thread basis

I'm trying to run River in a QEMU VM. I'm getting "EGL_EXT_platform_base not supported". I'm running QEMU with `-enable-kvm -vga virtio -display gtk,gl=on` among other flags, and was able to get Sway running with the same QEMU invokation so I think I'm just missing something on my system config. Any ideas?
