palmer: regarding the fdpic patch: merging this through your tree definitely makes sense, and it would be good to have since riscv is now the only architecture with support for !MMU but no fdpic, after it was added in xtensa

there is a good chance you need the same fix as 9c2cc74fb31ec ("xtensa: fix signal delivery to FDPIC process"). I don't know what that does exactly, but all the other ones seem to have it

second, are there actual users still on k210? my feeling was that interest in that disappeared mostly after proper usable hardware became available, and it's been several years now

for reference, I think we added fdpic support in arch/arm/ in 2017, which coincidentally was the same year that everyone on arm stopped their linux-nommu projects, so I still haven't heard of anyone actually shipping fdpic userland, despite it all being there
